Ace Computer Guy

I accidentally deleted my user profile. I found ACE on Unilocal.They got it back within minutes and didn’t charge me anything. I will definitely go back next time I have a problem.

I took my desktop PC with a virus that locked my computer. They cleaned out the virus as promised. This is my first experience with a PC issue and I decided to use Unilocal to help me. Because of the reviews and 4 star rating I decided to use the services of this business. No regrets!

The main computer that runs my business got the «blue screen of death» on a Monday morning of ALL things! ACE took my computer in, same morning, had me out the same day (as my business was shut down until the computer was fixed). When I got it back to the office, it worked like a Rolex and noticed there was some «fix it» software installed on it so I can keep the maintenance up to date on it. They did not charge me extra for the software and that was cool. The price was super reasonable; especially for the same day service.
For the other people that are attacking ACE, I think you should remember these guys are computer technicians; not magicians. If they can’t «miraculously» fix it, then it probably isn’t worth fixing or sometimes its a hardware issue that needs help only the factory can assist with. The people at ACE are professional, fast, and reasonable and that goes a long way these days.
Take your computer to the computer geniuses at Best Buy and see how you like your computer being gone 2 weeks for twice the price. Oh and that LONG LINE you see when you are Best Buy? That is the get your computer fixed line.

Quality computer repair with a friendly staff. I have been an Ace Computer Guy client for many years. I utilize their expertise for my business’s network management needs. They have helped my company avoid many disasters and are always available when I have a question. I used PC’s for many years, and now use Mac’s and they are able to work with my Macs also. I have recommended them to a number of my own clients who are all very happy with the services Ace provided.

I have referred several friends and family to this company, several have gone back again and all have thanked me for the referral. For the customers who said it would be cheaper to go somewhere else, you must have not had much experience with other repair places. The owner has always been extremely professional and courteous, and repairs have an above average turn around time. Above all this they are HONEST (i.e. did not charge a dime for a friend whos power cord was loose, which another repair service had charged 75 $ and didn’t tell her what the problem was.)

Unimpressed. Disagree with those who say these guys can fix a Mac. They seemed to know less than I do about my problem, and basically said to just send it back to Apple. Finally UPS’ed it to the computer guy I bought it from who did real diagnostics, and found that the aircard was corrupted. I won’t go back to ACE.

We’ve been coming here for years. When my daughter was a toddler, she thought it would be fun to pop the keys off of my laptop and they helped me get my keyboard replaced. And now that my kids are older, they’re in a habit of getting computer viruses and Ace is always there to get us up and running again. They have a very helpful and knowledgable staff and I’d recommend them to anyone. 5 Stars!

FABULOUS!
We have seven computers linked to a server. We have been with Ace for seven months now and couldn’t be happier. This is the fourth company we have worked with and the ONLY ONE that can actually fix a problem without creating a new one. Can’t say that for the others including those «Microsoft Certified» gentlemen.
Hmmm, come to think of it, we haven’t had a problem yet except a small virus I picked up by clicking onto a wrong link. Our employees thank you and I do too.

I should also add, that the very next day it was obvious the computer hadn’t been repaired properly; the power cord still won’t charge the laptop unless placed in a certain position. Should’ve spent an extra $ 20 to go to Nerds On Call or Tech Guy locally; it would’ve saved me the headache of putting up with such horrible customer service from their rude owner, and I actually would have a properly functioning computer by now. My loss.
ETA: Now the owner of the company is harrassing me here on Unilocal via private message, telling me to bring the computer back in so that they can break it again. Oy. I wish I had never bothered with these psychos.

Finally, a place that can wrench on a Mac in bakersfield.
If you’re a Mac user, don’t even bother with Geek Squad. Take it straight to Ace. They’re going to refer you to them anyway.
I took my machine in for hardware issues and they were able to open it up and diagnose the problem free of charge. They didn’t have the part on hand but were able to order it and install it for me in just a matter of a few days. Only cost me about $ 55.00 to bring my Mac back from the grave.
It’s a small shop so you don’t really feel like just another customer.
Dion did a great job for me. I would definitely go back to them in the future.
