TJ’s Painting

If I could give a zero or a minus number I would!!! TJ stained my shingles a dark teak color without showing me a sample; when I wanted a light /​clear stain to go with the color scheme of my beach cottage. He was rude & took over a month to complete a fairly small job, leaving ladders in my extra parking space for well over a month.
Now I need to repaint the shingles & my entire home. I am in the design industry and it is embarrassing to have the colors look so bad. He took off the black paint on my trim, when power washing and did not repair, dropped stain on my deck & sidewalk & did not clean up, and deposited cigarette butts in my front & back yard. No one in my family smokes.
If YOU want to use someone that is rude, does not complete the job in a timely manner and will not listen to you about the color of your own home (even if you are considered an expert in your field), and will not repair the damage/​wrong color and then lies to you and tells you, you did not want to take off any residue so you would have the correct color, then TJ is your man.
But he surely would not be mine. He said he was referred to me by another painter, but when I asked who it was, he seemed to have lost memory of it. He dropped his bill by my home two days after completion, with the bill made out to my pre-​marraige name, which I have not used in over three years. People like this should not attempt to run their own businesses.
