This cashier girl named Maria is great. She informed me about how great they are with technology this day and age. Their sushi chef is legit as well because he informed us about what they have as sauces. I love this place. And their walls are aesthetically pleasing

This place is pretty awesome. I just had their Udon and it’s bomb AF. I definitely will come here again. Probably the best sushi place in all of Glendora!

Service with a smile– our cashier Maria really helped us get out order together. because of her I recommend the Dynamite Roll haha. The sushi is good– that’s a given. The atmosphere is a strikingly modern, yet classy. First time coming and oldies but goodies music was playing– definitely fantastic atmosphere for friends or that special someone who wants a nice alternative to the regular In-N-Out run ;)

I just came to this place and Maria was really great with her customer service and everything. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The place plays good music and their ambiance makes it an enjoyable place for everyone to enjoy. It’s so good!!! Their poke is so amazing as well. I’ve never been so satisfied with a sushi restaurant before!

This place used to be Rolling Rice, and WOW what a massive improvement! For a «fast» sushi place, the rolls are large and the fish is fresh. I got the rainbow roll and the Hawaiian roll. Each of them were 8 large slices, which was probably way too much for my stomach. Same price as standard sushi places, though, so keep that in mind if you’re looking to save a couple bucks by coming here. Lunch specials are pretty good, though~ The staff actually acted like they cared about their customers, which was a big change from the previous people who staffed/ran Rolling Rice. I’ll definitely be back, and if you were put off of this spot when it was Rolling Rice, you should definitely come back and give Honey a shot. Note: The ramen isn’t anything to write home about, which is a disappointment!

This post is more about the workers. Their sushi is amazing but their customer service is even more amazing. I bring foreign exchange students to their location almost every day, who still have troubles speaking English, however, they are gentle and catering to my students. They are always sweet and kind and care about their company. So to the workers whom work at this location from the hours of 11−3pm thank you! You are awesome!

Unfortunately, this place has changed. I’ve come in multiple times trying to see if maybe it was an off-day but it seems it isn’t. The Ramen isn’t good. The broth is watered down. The lemon is sometimes spoiled. Dine-in you still get disposable containers(instead of dine-in plates). Portion is smaller(I wouldn’t had minded this if the fish was of better quality). The fish tasted old on the Sashimi Salad. The music is rap? What. At least go back to having K-Pop. I don’t want to eat my food while hearing shitty songs. Also new cashiers. The older ones were nicer and more professional. The new cashier has long fingernails. This is a violation of health standard. Heard of serv-safe? Not only that, when you’re deciding what to order she impatiently taps those nails on the counter telling you to hurry up. Meh. It’s only worth it if you come in during happy hour I guess. Otherwise, I’m sorry. I was excited when you were first here but the food has changed.

The place is. well. bright and hip. The music is. well… constant rap… which is NOT a good fit. The food is. well. portions are ample. and served right away. The strange thing is. IF I eat there. I’m up all night. in the bathroom peeing my brains out. I don’t know what they put in the food. but. if you want to pin your bladder to the bathroom wall. this is the place to start. Who knows. maybe this is a good thing? LOL

Not a fan! Cute decore but that’s about it. The driest chicken I have ever tasted. Very small portion for a chicken salad. Very sloppily put together.

This place is amazing!!! Quick and simple environment that makes delicious sushi taste even better! The portions are perfect size, they are very flexible when it comes to ordering, they have amazing offers and specials including their Happy Hour, and their environment is so much fun! It’s a huge open concept set up and it’s simple. The food is nothing short of a fine Japanese cuisine. The environment is fun and bright. Portions and quality are fantastic. They have gone through new management recently and it shows!!! Love this place! Well done!

It takes a lot for me not to enjoy a Japanese meal … Japanese is my favorite cuisine. But, this meal was less than desirable. I came for lunch on a Thursday. I ordered the tempura udon, and an order of Dynamite. The udon was brought out well before the tempura, instead of at the same time. The bowls were flimsy plastic, and the spoons were TINY plastic — making it very hard to eat hot soup. The quality of the soup as well as the udon were mediocre at best. As far as the dynamite, it was basically a pile of slop, and tasted as if it were thrown in the microwave. The scallops on it were very tough. I threw most of it away. My friend also couldn’t stomach her teriyaki chicken bowl– the sauce tasted awful according to her. I don’t live in the area, so I definitely won’t be back. But I highly recommend the owners get decent bowls, plates and utensils for their dine in customers

You never know what’s gonna happen at a fast casual sushi joint, but this place delivers. Delicious rolls, excellent prices, and incredibly kind staff. Décor is super adorable too. I’d take a picture but I already inhaled all my food.

This is a pretty solid small sushi place, especially when compared to Rolling Rice. The girls working here are always really friendly and give great service. I ordered the sunshine roll, which came out a lot bigger than I expected! This is definitely a great portion for the price :) The only thing I didn’t like was the sauce. It was too creamy detracted from the roll. I’m sure this sauce would appeal to the more Americanized customer base in Azusa, but it didn’t do it for me.

Had two special rolls, chicken yakisoba noddles, and honey sashimi– 12 pieces of fresh assorted fish beautifully served on a bowl of ice, surrounded with spiral radish, lemon slices and fresh wasabi. The price was a bit high for this type of eatery. The kids liked the special rolls and hubby raved over his noodles. Rice is not served with the sashimi plate, for 15.99, not only rice, but soup should accompany the plate. Good food, but for the price I could be served in a nicer setting, get soup, rice, and some edamame.

great new sushi place! good quality fish at good prices! my gf and i went there on a friday night during their soft opening and all the ‘specialty’ rolls were 50% off! you order your food first at the counter and then they bring out the food to you once it’s ready. drinks are self service. i forgot the names of the sushis we ordered, but i took photos of them and they were on par with most other sushi places we go to. i did order the yellowtail sashimi and fatty yellowtail sushi which tasted very fresh! we love it! the staff is very friendly and helpful and the clientele was mostly students and families from what i could gather. it is located in a strip mall with many other businesses and eateries with a large parking lot. already looking forward to our next visit!
