I went there today. They are lame cause they are cash only. They have an atm in the place that is down most times when I go there. Today I went to use the atm. I tried to get 60 dollars. The transaction finished, and no money came out. The receipt said no money was dispensed. I went next door, and grabbed the money. I came back, and ordered. Afterwards I sat down and checked my back account. I noticed that I was still charged for the withdrawal with the fee. I went to the women at the register and told her, and she said that happend to another customer. I blame myself for throwing my receipt away, because it said I received no money. The women went to the guy in the back. I know without the receipt I can no longer prove I used their atm, but the guy cooking the food knew the Atm was out of money, and they still keep it on. Who knows how many people are getting ripped off by them. They didnt offer any assitance at all. I showed the women my phone showing I had gotten charged, but she just stood there slack jawed saying nothing. I had to call my bank for help, and hopefully I will get my money back. Horrible experience.

Dude this place is good. A lil hidden gem for authentic mexican food. I like it. I typically get bfast burritos or bfast plates. For awhile my hubby n i were ordering a few times a week for bfast. Salsas on point! Quick n good. Just how i like it. The one thing i dont like, is that its cash only.

I love this place. The food here is extremely delicious. The tacos taste great especially with the salsas they make there. The cashiers and cooks are really friendly, every time I go in I see my favorite cashier Esmeralda she’s really sweet and fast at taking your orders. They give great recommendations for example of you want to taste a little of everything then you should try the Tampiqueña trust me it’s bomb. I would totally recommend this place!!!

It was near the Azusa Downtown Goldline station so I thought I’d give their 99 cent taco night (s) [Tues., Wed, Thurs] a try. Ordered one asada, one carnitas and one pollo with red sauce. After the shock that all three of the tacos combined fit into the palm of my hand, i popped them in my mouth one at a time (ok…it took 2 bites each). Good flavor… had better, had worse. If I wanted to fill up it would take like 15 tacos. Most othe places I’ve tried with tacos night specials will sell similar tacos for $.70-$.75 which is normal. Being in downtown Azusa they may have a little more overhead.
I will try a combo plate next time and report back… maybe theyll get another star… we’ll see.

If you want meat in your tacos, don’t come here. Seriously there was a shred of chicken in all 4 of our tacos. felt like we were eating lettuce tacos! He ordered all rice, no beans but yet he got beans. We were eating there but they «accidentally» put it in to go containers. Horrible!

For the price you pay its a deal. Really healthy portions, and freshly made. The only downside is that they do not take credit cards and are heavy on beans for their burritos.

Decent tacos for a decent price.

The carne asada tacos with the spicy red salsa is excellent! It’s so much better than Picoso’s! The horchata is delicious and authentic too! I love horchata and their horchata is one of my favorites! The place is clean and the staff is friendly as well; Esmeralda is my favorite! Will be returning!

The search for the greatest taco in Azusa continues. This place wasn’t bad but no where near the best. The first bite was promising as the tortilla was just the right texture not too oily and not to dry. The Asada was a bit soggy which meant that it was probably sitting for a while and a bit over seasoned. Chips were old and the horchata too. The spot was clean and the flavors weren’t bad. I’d return if I wasn’t paying.

My family and I decided to try this place out as headed to Costco
We got the tacos combo with your choice of meat for $ 4.99. My wife got the sopes plate for $ 6.99 and my daughter the huarache for $ 5.99
The tacos were really good. If you come after 7pm they’re 99 cents.
My only knock on this place is the parking situation and it’s cash only. They do have an ATM here but then you’ll deal with the bank fees.
Overall, I’ll be coming back to try their breakfast

Came here and had nachos and a vegetarian breakfast burrito. They were good, but not the best Mexican food in town.

Everything is delicious from the fresh Aguas to the tripas so good better then Picoso

A place that charges for credit/​debit transactions will not get my Business. Especially since they do not tell you that they’re adding the $.50 surcharge and charging tax on it. Yes I know there’s a sign but it’s out of the line of sight of most customers.

Very delicious food tastes like homemade, large servings at an affordable price. Place is nice and clean maintained. Totally recommend it!!!

The caldo de pollo was pretty good but my favorite part was the salsa verde… tastes like king taco green sauce!

I live close and have been here several times. The food is excellent, I mean really good and authentic. The only thing is, is that the prices are kind of high and the portions are kind of small. And they do not have any daily or weekly specials except for $ 1 tacos after 8pm on M, W, TH. I’ll go back just not on a regular basis.

This place is fantastic. Been here about 5 times and each time I ordered a different plate and I have not been disappointed yet! The portions are huge and the quality is great. Service is exceptional even when they are busy

Delicious Mexican food, la tipica comida de cuaresma, nopalitos con huevo, chilaquiles, mojarra frita, muy delicioso todo!

I happened to be driving by and had a craving for Mexican food …the place is clean, staff is friendly but I’m used to larger portions of food for the price I paid. No complaints about the taste just portion size but they so have free drink refills. I don’t think I’ll stop by here again.

Wonderful people here!!! My fiancé and I came w/​o knowing it was cash only. After ordering our food we realized this and we went to try to get cash out. We weren’t able to so we rushed back t cancel the order. They were super kind and allowed us to have the dinner for free! Who has ever heard of that! We ofcourse gave them as much cash as we could muster to cover at least one meal.
The food was perfect, authentic Mexican food and ofcourse the kindest service Ive ever encountered. We will definitely be back with cash ready!

I drive by here daily and decided to try it out. I got a carne asada burrito and two tacos. One al pastor and one carnitas.
The burrito, for $ 7 I expected it to be bigger. Came out long and thin. I thought, maybe it is delicious and size doesn’t matter. It comes with your choice of meat, refried beans, rice, salsa, cilantro and onions.
The carne asada was good. I’ve had better but have also had worse. 6 out of 10.
Carnitas taco, $ 1.40 comes with onion and cilantro and choice of green or red salsa. The carnitas were tender and fried. A good mix in my book. Tasty. Much better than the asada. 8 out of 10
Al pastor taco, $ 1.40 comes with onion and cilantro and choice of green or red salsa. This may be my favorite place for al pastor. It was amazingly delicious. I wish I would have got the burrito with al pastor. 10 out of 10
The Green sauce is mild in heat and has a good flavor.
The red sauce has a decent flavor and is hotter. I mixed the two together.
I also got a small drink $ 1.99 free refills
I will definitely come back for more al pastor.
The workers were friendly and the place was clean. They had mariachi music playing.
