Tried this for the first time today. Tucked away in a strip mall in avondale, it was easy to find. I side, it smells like heaven. Don’t stop here before going to the gym(like we did) because you will want to go home and eat instead of working out. The buñuelos are just sweet enough, and not too thin. And the puerquitos re yummy and not dry. Overall, a good first visit.

I have never really been to a «panaderia» before and was pleasantly surprised by Panaderia La Central’s products. I went around and selected at least one of everything they had to offer. All of them were de-li-cious. There is a European bakery back home that I visit for their éclairs and cinnamon bread. I can easily spend $ 40 at that place. After I had grabbed a bunch of turnovers, empanadas, and a multitude of other pastries the girl behind the counter rang them up and said $ 23.00! This place is SO cheap! Don’t miss out on this place! It is awesome. Everybody in the West Valley needs to make Panaderia La Central their first choice for Mexican pastries and cakes.

Great place for fresh pan dulce and even better for their fresh squeezed juices. If you’re around weekends, their menudo is almost as good as Grandmas and I hear their tamales are also very good. Most of all, the owner and staff always makes every customer feel welcome. Give this place a try, I give this place a definite thumbs up!!!

We had my daughter’s cake ordered here and asked for the writing to be in Spanish. We wrote on a piece of paper what we wanted on it. When we picked up the cake they wrote everything in English and on top of that they misspell her name. Really! This is why I gave them 3 stars. The cake was moist huge and delicious. They just need to pay attention.

I’ve been eating pan dulce from this panaderia for some time now but I’d forgotten to review it. Obviously the fact that I’ve returned says it all. The bread is fresh and its the best panaderia in the west valley, at least the best one I’ve tried. Their conchas and empanadas de calabasa are my favorite both have a mild cinnamon taste and the conchas sometimes have that orangey taste common in pan de muerto.

This bakery is AMAZING! Fresh bread every day! Every single hour of the entire day you get fresh bread! Not only do they have bread but they have some amazing fresh juices for those who want to drink healthy! Green juices are my favorite! BUT you can leave without getting the bolillo/bread filled with chorizo right out the oven! Their menudo is so good ! Haven’t been to a bakery were it’s so clean and the customer service and employees welcome you with a smile all the time! I really recommend this bakery ! Cakes and desserts for any occasion are available too! Really good bakery overall!

What a great find. I don’t have to stand in the long lines at Food City for my pan dulce. This place is old school. They had green shake samples, paletas, and even sell hot/fresh tamales. Friendly staff and very clean restaurant

I have been too many panaderias, & by far this is the best one in quality, price, and service… right when I walked in I was greeted by the cashier and my first impression was… wow this place is clean… will be a regular here for sure

During my visit I wanted to meet up with my family for some coffee and pan dulce. I was pleasantly surprised to find both. I actually ended up getting their green juice which was definitely green! You can ask for a custom blend and their selection is pretty decent for a small café. There’s limited seating so expect to wait during rush hours but after 9am not too busy.

Last month we took our Head Start class to a local business for a field trip. When we arrived the doors we locked and no one was there! Fortunately for us, the amazing owners of Panaderia La Central offered to allow the children a tour through the bakery! They saved the day for the children, parents, and staff that attended! The bakery was very busy while we were there and we saw a number of very happy patrons leaving. The breads, cookies, and cakes made our tummy’s rumble and smelled heavenly! I know a few parents went back and purchased pastries from them later that day!(A few even plan to have their children’s birthday cakes made there!) THANKYOU to the owners of Panaderia La Central for your willingness to step in and show us your bakery! Staff and families alike plan on stopping by your bakery reguarly!
