I could write a book about this company but I will just give you the basics. I was quoted a price of $ 550.00 for removing weeds and old rock, spraying for weeds and installing new rock. They said it would be an all day job. After some communication issues (their part not mine) the job was scheduled. They were suppose to be there bright and early since I was suppose to be the first job of the day, but did not show until 9:55. I had to text them to make sure they were coming. Luckily I was home and saw that they did not remove the old rock. All they did was remove weeds (which ½ had been removed since he quoted by the youth from my church) and add the new rock. The job took 2 hours. I told him I would not pay the entire price. He gave me a lousy $ 100 off (tried to give me only $ 80).
Other issues — Luckily I saw them when they pulled up and put the cover on my doggie door since they never bothered to let me know they were there and were ready to work. Joe knew I had a dog and he is just lucky that I saw and kept my dog out or his guys may have been taking a trip to the hospital for a dog bite.
They left their trash (coffee cups in my back yard) and they took the hose I had for my front yard and used it in my back yard and never returned it to the front (do they not have their own hose?).
They also moved my trash and recycle container to my neighbors yard so they could access the gate to bring the rock in and never returned them.
Buyer beware. I could have bought the rock and had the youth from my ward do what he crew did for less than $ 100.00. and would have but that isn’t what I wanted. I needed the old rock dug up and removed. Now I am going to have to hire someone to get the new rock off the old rock, dig out the old rock and haul it away and reinstall the new rock. I wouldn’t worry about it but the rock is right up to and covering the stucco of my house in some places and the same thing with my AC unit.
Lesson learned so hopefully you will read this and not use this company so you don’t have to learn the same lesson.
