We held our daughters 7th birthday party here and it was perfect in every way! The kids were amply entertained with a horse themed art project we had pre-​designed with Jenn. Best part was how reasonable it was for such a cool space. It included the supplies plus they led everything for us and I was able to set up a cake/​snack table. We left with one happy birthday girl. Thank you Garage girls!

Whether you’re an artist or lover of the arts, this place is for you! I’m a jewelry designer and have had the privilege of selling my pieces and teaching classes at Garage Door Studio for the past year. The studio is multi-​functional with a boutique selling handmade items from local artisans as well as an art studio for adult workshops, girls night out, birthday parties and even kids camps during the summer and holidays. Garage Door Studio is owned by four local artists who are professional, organized and easy to work with. I highly recommend!

GDS is a fantastic shop! As one of the local artists with stuff to sell I’m in and out of the shop on a regular basis. They always have new and exciting things and I want to buy everything! It helps, too, that all four owners are fantastic women who seem to know everyone that walks into the shop. It has that old small town feel that’s hard to find these days.

I’m new to the area and have a list of interesting places to visit as I am out and about. I am SO glad I stopped at Garage Door Studio just to browse. They have fabulous gifts, and I even gifted myself with a new travel coffee cup. I will definitely go back for specials gifts, or just to stop in and see what’s new from time to time.

I love this place. I’ve taken 2 classes there that were top notch, even for someone with a bonafide art and design background, and quite enjoyable. They have a killer store to shop in with local products (support small business!) that has become one of my first places to go whenever I need a card or a gift for anyone (or for myself eheheh). Everyone who works there is super nice, too.

Super cool warehouse art studio for classes, events and a great place to shop for a wide range of handmade products and art. Cute clothing for babies artsy stuff for grown-​ups, skincare products and really funny paper line from Erin Smith. Great local resource in Avondale, located near the big parking lot, behind the Avondale market or the Avondale wineshop.
