The Vitamin Shoppe

I’m not really into supplements, but I’ll probably be getting my coconut oil and apple cider vinegar here for the foreseeable future. Both are priced reasonably without the long lines and entitled atmosphere of some high-​end grocers and health food stores.
And, as opposed to GNC, these guys aren’t here to pressure you into $ 500 worth of their product. I think I was in and out in about five minutes.

Well I forgot to check in (sad panda), but I was here with the spouse on a quest for his nasty protein powder that comes in a much-​to-​large container that I hate. I decided to go in with him even though I’ve always made fun of this place nonstop (who needs this many vitamins?). So I was milling around and was actually impressed. The Vitamin Shoppe is really a misnomer as it is mostly supplements (especially for weight lifting). I am protein deficient and a health nut with a love for everything carb, so when I came across protein powder pancake mix — I literally squeeled!
They also have organic, vegan, and gluten free energy bars and numerous vitamins. I was also enjoying the selection of pet supplements.
OK, so I was digging this place. The guy working here was way into his job and knew his stuff, which was useful. He claims this pancake powder is the bomb so we shall see.
