Best tacos al pastor I’ve had! So much flavor that I didn’t even need the salsas. I definitely want to come back and try the menudo since it was sold out today! As good of tacos as I’ve had even in Mexico.

They have great tacos, a little small but that doesn’t matter because you can get more. They have a very unique and authentic Mexican flavor to them. I also got one of the pork tortas, those were very good as well. This was the first time I went there but it will definitely be my go to joint for Mexican food in the Valley. They have the simple stuff like tacos, burritos, tortas, etc.

Amazeballs, if you like spicy try their salsas. Ordered the Carne asada torts and it was amazing. Think I consumed it in under 2 minutes

Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. So good I had to order 2 more, and that was after the initial 4. The pastor was amazing.

Good authentic food at reasonable prices. If you show up right a lunch rush, it is a bit of a wait, but worth it.

So good, we came here twice on our short weekend stay. The meat in the tacos are cooked to a unique, crispy texture and so full of flavor. With only a few options on meats, why not try them all? The horchata was well made and refreshing. We even got a torta and burrito for our plane ride home. The verdict? The food was damn good even when it’s cold and had been dragged around the hotel, to the shuttle to the airport and onto the plane. I bet the other airplane passengers were jealous of our tasty meal when busted out our torta and burrito. Is the stuff authentic? I have no idea. But I do know it sure beats a lot of other Mexican places I been to and is far tastier than chipotle, Taco Bell, qdoba or any other chain«Mexican» places.

Who looks for menudo in Avon? Me! Well I found this place before this trip. So first things first was to walk to this place from the Westin. At 2pm they were out! I was told that they open at 9:30 am and half hour after its sold out! Wow! It must be that good! Everybody seem to agree if you read the reviews. I tried their second best item. The Torta. Wow! The pork marinate was so good it was hard to put down. The other item was the Chicken Burrito dry. I still haven’t gotten used to the smothered burrito. This was really good as well. Looks like a place to stop for cheap and fast eats in Avon. One thing to note: it’s next to a consignment store. We were on foot and still missed it. It’s tucked away in the crux of an L shaped building. Small space and you walk in; the counter to your left is where you place your order. They will call your order when it’s ready. So pay attention. Super casual. Worth the visit. Really! Tip: the menudo gets served on Saturday and Sunday’s only. $ 9.97.

All of my taco desires satiated in one small, strip mall location. Everything on the menu is great, but pay attention to what the locals order… they know whats up. Get the lomo de puerco(pork loin) tacos and go back on sunday for the Menudo. Seriously, this place is a gem. Forget your snobby apres spot, make the trip to Avon for No Se.

I am a 30 year local and love to come here when I am craving hot sauce. The best home made jalapeño salsa and red salsa. I usually order the chicken tacos. .they are great! !! The owner at the register is always a delight. My husband loves the burrito.

Best burrito ever! And we are visiting from the home of the burrito… Texas! Took the wife and kids the second time and they also loved it. Keep it up and next trip will be coming back for more.

Simply the real deal… if you want a Banquet frozen Mexican dinner, go to a Mexican theme restaurant, but if you want the real deal perfectly done with generous portions of meat, not a bunch of canned beans, and nicely balanced spices… come here. We ordered the whole menu for our party and everything was super delicious!

A little hole in the wall hidden gem if I’ve ever seen one! Never not busy and for a good reason! Excellent food, quality service! Don’t expect a seat, but quick enough to order to go. Incredibly affordable for how quality the food is!

Ok. Done. TNSHB has my favorite tacos in all of Colorado. These tacos are legit, flavorful, and served up by super friendly people. How could you not come here and support them while supporting your stomach? This puts fancy shmancy ‘apres ski’ food to shame. SHAME! Like an idiot I only tried three kinds of tacos — if I had been using the ol’ noggin’ I would’ve just ordered one of each straight down the line.(by the by, you have to order two of a kind… something that’s not on their menu but politely explained to me at the counter) Pulled pork? Succulent and lean and tender. Barbacoa? Fresh, savory, meaty with no gristle. Pastor? Sweet mother of god — every protein strand of this meat is magically marinaded in some holy water and then grilled to perfection. Tortillas are tiny and perfect. They don’t fall apart when you bend ‘em and yet they are delicate and moist. Their salsas are all good and spicy but you don’t need them because the tacos already have so much moisture and character. Roasted jalepenos deliver some heat should you need to warm your tuchus. My only wish is that this crew would move to Denver. Why does Avon get to have such tasty morsels and be so darn far away?

Good Mexican food. I tried four different meats. Barbacoa was the best. The Orchata was also pretty good. It gets four stars because it did not quite reach the level of taste that I come to expect in great Mexican food. I mean the taste that I usually only find in the streets of Mexico. The taste I yearn, but only get when I travel there.

Coming from Southern California good Mexican food is hard to come by. This place is legit! Their Mexican food sales from Chihuahua/Jalisco Mexico. Everything I’ve tried here is Ono!!! Their burritos and tacos are delicious. Even their french fries with cheese is de-lish!!! Wash that all down with the big cup of Horchata. This is definitely a hole in the wall gem.

Tacos are a little bit more pricey but at least it’s good. We ordered a lot of different meats, some of them have guac on them! They also give you picco with some of it. The tacos were pretty good, a little smaller than regular corn tortilla tacos though. Try the horchata too! Yum

Really yummy taqueria with real Mexican coke. I had about 4 tacos. Clearly a real taqueria. My girls had a burrito, I had a bite, they were yummy. The tacos were perfect little taqueria tacos. They had all the usual meats, but I did not see tongue or brains. but they might have that if thats your thing. They meat was yummy not to dry and flavorful. 3 tacos were plenty and very good. The one thing that bothered me was that I thought I was getting 2 tacos, and it is one for 1.75. which is a fair price. I do wish there were 2 corn tortillas to eat the stuff that falls off. I like that. I also wish they had yummy salsas. That would be great too. Nontheless, if was fantastic and perfect taqueria food.

If you want the real deal — authentic Mexican food… then come here. The best al pastor tacos I’ve had in a long time. You get 2 tacos per order for only $ 1.75. Can’t be beat. My son couldn’t get over how good his burrito was and the mixto torta was so so good! Find this place –it’s worth it. It’s hidden in a shopping complex off I –70. It’s a small restaurant. Defiantly coming back when I’m here!
