I’m not really sure what people who are giving 1 or 2 stars are talking about? I went in and ordered the westerner sandwich with pulled pork and spicy cheddar sausage. There was a ton of meat on the sandwich and it was hot. I ordered fries and mac and cheese for sides. The fries were cooked to order and the seasoning on them was great. The mac was warm and good. The service was friendly. I’m really really glad I didn’t look at the reviews before I came in, as i may have changed my mind. My food was hot, tasted great, and there was more than I could finish off.

Worst Dickey’s location I have ever been to. The food tastes old, plus there was a hair on my plate and they didn’t even apologize.

The place was high on my to try list. I was so disappointed. The plate was almost empty and looked like it would be served in Marion County jail. The amount of food was portioned for a 3 year old. 4 pieces of sausage and like a pinch of pulled pork for 10.00. I would recommend not going to this place especially with the phở place 2 doors down. The service is comical and don’t ask for the Cesar salad when you see the size you will laugh even the cashier was like are you sure that you want this probably don’t even have salad in the building. I was so hoping to like it I really hope management reads this and sees the pics I posted and make me take another chance if not I would never go back and recommend no one I know goes there

I’m from Dallas where Dickey’s started. Back there it’s the fast food of BBQ and they are everywhere. I grew up eating at this establishment. I can say that the BBQ from this location is unrecognizable to me. It was pretty awful. The meat was cold. There was ZERO red smoke ring on the meat and it was all just wrong. They are NOT following the Texas BBQ methods. The service was friendly so that was a plus but if the food is bad then why go back.

Tried the ribs, they were tasty, tried the chicken, very tender, tried the pulled pork, very lean. Overall good experience!

Run of the mill Corporate Chain BBQ… Is what it is! Nothing good, Nothing Bad. Ribs were«fall off the bone», but to the point that it was mushy. Sauces are okay, but nothing special about them. Mac & Cheese was probable the star of my meal.

Great options, free ice cream, very nice service. I loved the brisket with spicy BBQ sauce and the Fried Onion Tanglers were excellent. The location is nice and the Groupon deal made it an excellent value. The one meat plate was more than I could eat. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re around Indy.

Went there for lunch today, and was blown away! The portions are huge! The special was two meats and two sides for 10 $ awesome deal! They have different specials every day. We also received a souvenir cup. I will defiantly be back! They also offer kids eat free on Sunday’s plus free ice cream all the time! The manager Jody was super nice and gave us the dickey’s run down!

We’ve been to Dickey’s at other locations. The food is really great for it being a chain. Unfortunately for this location, inadequate staffing and a long wait in a line that was not moving resulted in our leaving. If their staffing situation improves, I would definitely stop in again.

Wow. That was a disappointment. Been excited about this place opening. Stopped by for lunch. Stood there for nearly 10 minutes without anyone offering to help. The menu is pretty small compared to city BBQ. Not a very big selection. Gave up after waiting for 10 mins. Maybe ill try again but not impressed.

Not good barbecue. Very chewy ribs, not the«Fall off the bone tender», as was advertised. Mac and Cheese was meh… a defrosted Kraft type. Sauce was burned, and had no foundation of tomato or vinegar. Then there was the fried okra which never made it into the bag. This was totally not worth the extensive wait period in line. It appeared very understaffed, for such a busy time(Sunday lunch). No repeat visit planned.

I’m a Q guy. the brisket is OFF-THE-CHAIN. The sides are all good, the service is good. the ONLY complaint I have is about the turkey; the flavor is smokey and solid, but the texture reminds me of lunchmeat. It’s a small complaint for what is a VERYGOOD Q joint. Oh… and FREESOFT-SERVEICECREAM!!! NOW: FORMYPEPPERHEADS: The spicy sauce was fair… but the heat only REALLY comes when you chomp on the seeds to grip onto the little capsaicin you can find. It’s a decent sauce… but p-heads will«meh».

This Dickey’s Barbecue location was an odd mix of good and not-so-good. We ate there on a Sunday evening, and the place was dead. There were at least three employees on duty. There was one other couple there when we arrived. My husband and I were greeted enthusiastically. We each chose the two meat platter, both ordering chicken and brisket. I was disappointed that they were out of pulled pork, as that would have been my first choice. After getting our food, we stopped by the drink/service bar to fill our drink cups and pick up BBQ sauce and utensils. The area was dirty and cluttered. Three kinds of sauce were kept in what looked like soup tureens, with ladles to use to put sauce in plastic cups. Unfortunately, there were no plastic cups – just lids. I checked in the cupboard under the service bar and found the cups. I stacked some on a napkin in front of the tureens. Getting the sauce into the small plastic cups was awkward at best, and I can see why the area is sticky. If this is the arrangement the chain is committed to, I suggest management have an equal commitment to wiping the area up on a regular basis. The coffee machine was not working, and there was a large plastic utility bucket in front of it. There was sauce spilled all around the area, along with other liquids(maybe from drinks). There was also a drink lid with a straw inserted, as though someone had refilled their drink and just left the trash there. We were in the restaurant for around 40 minutes. I saw employees scrubbing tables and sweeping the floor. Only once did an employee approach the service bar. He closed the lids on the sauce containers and never came back to clean up the area. It was still dirty when we left. The food was uneven. The chicken was ok, although a bit dry(even with the addition of some sweet BBQ sauce), but the brisket was very good. It was moist and flavorful, lightly smoky – some of the best brisket I’ve had. The meat portions were surprisingly small for the price. The sides were meh. My coleslaw was pretty much like what you’d get at KFC. It was ok, but I’m guessing it came out of a 5 gallon bucket. Same with the«baked potato casserole.» Overly thick potato mixture with lots of cheese and green onion. It could have been delightful, but it was lukewarm and very gummy. My husband’s sides were much the same. He had baked beans and potato salad, and both were just ok. The roll that came with the meal was good. Oddly, this place offers free soft serve ice cream. I tried it and was surprised at how good it was. My experience has been that«free» soft serve is often watery and flavorless. This was thick and creamy and quite tasty. I would be willing to pay for it if some modest array of toppings was offered. We paid almost $ 30 for the two of us, and I think it was a bit high for what we got. There are other BBQ places in the area(such as City Barbeque) that do a much better job for the money.

Not a fan! Did carry out, ordered online. Ordered two of the 3 meat plates. They messed up both orders. Forgot the sides on one, gave us the wrong meat on the other. There was no choice in sauce and the sauce isn’t anything special(like open pit sauce). Portions were smaller than the bbq place down the street. My biggest complaint: the ribs were all bone and no meat! I was blown away at how really mediocre the ribs were. On a plus, the brisket is good. I’m gonna head on down the street for bbq next time — Dickey’s didn’t impress me with their half a sausage portion, frozen non-buttered rolls, tasteless sauce, scant ribs, and inadequate service. Won’t be in our rotation for food!

Was my first time at this place. I was overall pretty impressed with the place. Very clean and very well decorated(it didn’t feel like a typical fast food place). The food was really good only thing I would say is the pork + brisket sandwich I got could of been a little warmer, but it wasn’t cold by any means. The waffle fries are fried in individual portions so you know they’re fresh. The other reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars was the price was pretty high though comparable to other BBQ places(like City BBQ)
