I read the reviews and spoke with others who have been here, but, don’t get me wrong the food was delish. Unfortunately when you are 2 people ordering on the same check you expect your food to be served at the same time!
It was our first time there your order at the counter then you get you drink cups and get your drink, find a table and wait for you lunch. They call your name and bring it to you.
My problem is, they brought out one lunch and I waited and waited and waited, my lunch partner was almost done when I just had to get up and ask if the had my order??? They looked in the window and were told it was just coming out of the oven. I waited and waited until the cook finally put it up on the shelf to be given to me as I was still standing there waiting and waiting. I had to ask some one to hand me my lunch, when I took it to my table and looked at it the entire bottom was burnt. Now, the food was good, but not the burnt part. That’s why I gave them 4 stars

Great pizza, excellent service! I was looking forward to this visit for weeks after reading all the previous reviews and I was not disappointed. It was perfect and I only wish we had made it in here sooner!

Great food, service, and price. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and slaw. Portions were large and I ended up taking some home. Hospitality from the staff topped off a great lunch!

The only reason I miss living in Avon park is market 27. Everything I’ve had from here is delicious. The service is fast and the price is right. :)

The best pizza in the area. They have a large menu with many options. Everything on the menu is exceptional and fresh. They even have cold beer and wine. Can’t forget to mention the huge ice cream counter for the desert lovers. There is a great friendly staff ready to serve you always.

Great variety of food & drinks, wonderful service, and clean restrooms. Couldn’t ask for more. We had the Cuban and ham & turkey club sandwich; both were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place. FYI — The outside of the building is not a good representation of how nice it is on the inside.

Greatest pizzas and awesome wings, excellent atmosphere and enough of what you need to be a one stop shop. It’s the perfect place. I really enjoy the place.

EXCELLENT customer service. A little pricey, but nothing too bad. The ice cream was delicious, because of their wonderful costumer service I will gladly be returning.

Steve R. Actually Market 27 is where the Ridge Lounge used to be a landmark of Highlands county for many years. Searras was a joke that’s why it closed up. Market 27 started out in a small store down the street. Jim and Deb did a great job although the food is good the portions on the sandwichs has been greatly reduced not enough for the price. hikes since the move. I will say that their pizza is the best around the lack of customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

This is just the place that Unilocal was created for. An undiscovered gem that you’d never find without Unilocal!
If you are blowing down Route 27 you’d drive right by in a heartbeat. THAT WOULD BE A GIGANTIC MISTAKE! This place is a combination convenience store, FULL BAR and restaurant all in one quirky place and it works wonderfully!
This is a family run joint and the physical ATMOSPHERE here is nothing special. However when you look around you’ll see a bunch of very happy folks drinking their choice of adult libations and munching on great food.
Speaking of FOOD, there is something for everyone here from pizza to sandwiches to the usual suspects from the fryer. Everything is done very well. On my last visit I had a Pastrami Rueben and it was fantastic for about $ 6. The pizzas looked excellent as well.
The CUSTOMER SERVICE here solid however you may need to wait a while for your order as the kitchen is very small and everything is made to order. Trust me, it’s worth it!
Some folks think this part of Central FL is the end-​of-​the-​world but if it is, it has a damm fine place to eat!

Seriously. Interesting food, friendly service, casual atmosphere… bar. Do you need anything else today? I don’t think so.
I had the «Jalapeño Popper» pizza, which had cream cheese, grape jelly, and fresh jalapeños and it was weird, but delicious!

This place is a hidden gem that only the locals know about it… their food is delicious! It is just a small mom & pop place. Small parking area, not in the best location, but safe! Its nothing fancy, its an order and go kinda place. On Sundays, I’ve been there and the wait has been 20 minutes! Because everything is made to order. Its worth the wait. They have Reuben’s to Cubans to Phillys to your simplest grilled cheese — you wont be disappointed!
