LuAnn V.‘s review is right on the money. My doctor ordered my new refills on 10÷2÷2015 directly from his laptop to Catamaran’s system. I am still waiting for them(going on two weeks) and I have been out for several days! If Catamaran were a payroll company(my former profession), I doubt if anyone would be paid on time! Computers can only do what they are programmed to do, so it must be their inept and inefficient staff. Initial setup with Catamaran was also a nightmare and caused me, normally a calm person, to lose my temper. The only thing Catamaran seems to be able to handle is a simple, preexisting refill from the customer’s computer. To be fair, other mail-order pharmacies I have dealt with(CVS and Medco) are equally inept and inefficient, so the problem must be industry-wide. In conclusion, I would give Catamaran negative stars, if that were possible. To underscore LuAnn V., don’t deal with this company unless you have to.

This company is the most inept & inefficient I’ve ever dealt with. Most recently I ordered a prescription by phone on 1÷6÷15. It arrived on 2÷2÷15, 2 days after the previous months supply ran out. When I called & asked how this issue could be avoided in the future, I was told that I could pay for expedited shipping! On another occasion, they sent the prescription to the the wrong address(the insurance is carried by the non-custodial parent), necessitating a 2 hour drive to go retrieve it. Another time, they didn’t send it at all. When I called they told me they were«verifying the address», even though it was clearly listed on the order form! Apparently they can’t grasp the concept that a covered dependent may live with someone other than the insurance subscriber. Steer clear of this company if you can avoid it! I will pay more and get the medicine from the pharmacy from now on, it’ll be well worth the extra expense not to have to deal with some kind of BS every time I order a prescription from them!
