Pre-​wedding Nerves!!! I recently got married in Stone Harbor and a few days before, I made appt to get a gel mani/​pedi with my maid of honor. The day of, I changed it to four girls and they were so accommodating. We had a great morning chatting and hanging out and everyone loved their nails!
Me, being the bride, thought I was going to have to be picky and it was the amazing nail tech that was picky (in a great way). She was giving me a gel French manicure and re-​did the white lines a few times to make sure they were absolutely perfect for my big day! On top of the fact that everyone loved their nails, they lasted forever!!! And the only reason I just changed out my gel was because I am about to leave for my honeymoon and wanted a bright color… Not because they were chipped. Best gel manicure I ever had!

I came here with my boyfriends mom to get her first ever pedicure. She was very happy with the results and had a pleasant and much needed relaxing experience, which was more my concern than which ever way I felt about it, however. I also had a great relaxing experience! My super cute nails and toes look amazing and neat. Very friendly! I also got my eyebrows waxed in which I am insanely picky about and my eyebrows look absolutely amazing. I have very little eyebrows but they are scattered so my eyebrows are tough to shape and made to look even and neat. This will definitely be my regular spot for all things nails and eyebrows. This place is amazing! My nails were a mess after vacation and we had a wedding to go too. Even as busy as the place was the owner had no problem at all fitting me right in for a full set. Not only do they do stunning, professional work, but the entire environment of this place made you feel right at home. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner as she did my nails and I left there more than satisfied! Such an amazing family. I will be going back every year. Don’t miss out on this experience if you’re near the Avalon, Stone Harbor area!

This nail salon is meticulously clean. The staff is knowledgable and professional. They encourage you to make your wishes and preferences known, and they don’t try to sell you services you don’t want or need.
My overall impression of Summer Breeze is that they care about doing a good job. They take pride in making their customers happy.

I went one morning with two others while on vacation. We found summer breeze on Unilocal and were able to make last minute appointments. The staff was great and very attentive. I was also surprised they had zoya brand nail polish, which is my favorite brand. I got acrylic nails (by van I believe) and they definitely held up! It’s been three weeks now and my pedicure is still looking great as well! This salon was great. Now if only I was closer!

This place used to have such great service, but it has sadly gone downhill. I believe they have succumbed to the same mindset as the other local nail salons: low competition=mediocre service.
They have a sign-​in sheet at the front desk but it seems to hold very little meaning. All in all, there’s nothing that sets them apart from other nail salons on the island anymore. It is, however, a good place to kill time on a non-​beach day.

Very impressed with the nail services. Had a gel manicure by Tony and it came out perfect. He took his time and even applied three coats. The salon itself is very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely come back.

My friend and I visited on Monday ⁵⁄₂₆. We called around 11am to make two appointments for noon. We arrived a little early and were seen right away. Tony and David were our technicians and they were both excellent.
We each got a polish change on our toes and a gel manicure (my friend’s involved a soak off, which they did while she had her toe polish change). Despite being just a polish change, we both had an excellent shaping and cuticle clean up and the polish was absolutely perfect. Tony even helped me find another color to layer over what I had picked out when he saw I wasn’t in love with the color I had chosen.
Our gel manicures are absolutely perfect and they were both so meticulously done. Tony even did a little design on my ring finger! It is probably the best gel manicure I’ve ever had. This is definitely going to be my place whenever I’m in town.

One of the best pedicures I’ve had in a long time. It was a solid hour long and I enjoyed every second. The place wasn’t fancy but it was clean and quite crowded. There was also an adorable little girl bopping around who was interacting with everyone.

I have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. In the past I’ve tried other Avalon salons, both lower and higher priced, and this is by far the best value. My mani/​pedi yesterday was excellent. A thorough massage (thank you!), excellent massage chairs, and my technician was meticulous with the polish. I’ll return here every time. Make a reservation. They seem quite busy, even in the off season.

I don’t get how this salon only has 2 ½ stars on Unilocal; it sincerely puzzles me, my dear Unilocalers. I needed a pedicure in the worst way and the highest ranked place on Unilocal was booked solid for the day. I decided to take my chances with Summer Breeze and I’m glad I did! I was taken in almost immediately, my spa pedicure probably took about 35 – 40 minutes with about 10 minutes to dry, and the music was a local alternative station (think 104.5 ish for your PA Unilocalers)
Prices seemed reasonable (My spa pedicure was $ 28, included all the normal soaking, buffing, cuticles as well as exfoliation, hot towel, and mini leg/​foot massage). Lisa did my pedicure and everything was great. The mother and daughter getting mani/​pedis at the same time seemed to be satisfied and they even had a regular come in (Betty) who they greeted by name. This will probably become my shore-​go to nail place!
Bring cash to tip; they don’t accept tips on cards.(Credit cards are Visa/​MasterCard only I believe as well)

The staff was very friendly. We were taken back right at our appointment time. Received a high quality gel manicure.

My favorite salon when visiting Avalon. Very professional and personable. I love my manicure and my niece had a pedi and they did a great job and the cost was reasonable. I would recommend Summer Breeze to anyone visiting Avalon.

I made an appointment for 1:00 pm on a Tuesday. I received a call at 12:50 asking to move it to 2 which I did. I then received a call at 1:55 canceling the appointment altogether. Was very disappointed in the lack of customer care throughout this process. My friend is going tomorrow — hopefully my experience is unique, but I am not optimistic.
My friends appointment the next day was a pleasant surprise. She found the salon to be beautiful, clean, and the customer service to be excellent. I’m very glad to say that my original impression did not hold true!

Out of all the nail salons in Avalon this is the best place. Clean, friendly and they do a great job. A tad pricey but comparable to Shore prices for mani and pedi’s. Well worth the service. My shellac mani lasted 3 weeks and regular pedi lasted 4 weeks.

It was my first time here & the quality is good for the price. My pedicure looks awesome a week later despite being on the beach daily. I got the gel shellac nails which looked decent but a week out the base of the nail was way too thick at the cuticle so it’s starting to chip. Overall, the service was good & it was a clean salon.
