Zumiez

LOVE THIS PLACE! I bought 2 pairs of shoes here (buy one get one half off), workout pants (needed to exchange for a bigger size and so did it online), got a new headband (best one ive ever gotten, just love it!) and over all the customer service was great.
I can’t believe I haven’t shopped here sooner. They have skater clothes, men and women’s clothing… Always have stuff on sale and so the price point is decent (about 20.00 bucks for a shirt or bottom). There size XL is a size 10. and so it is not a plus size store, but again every female is shaped differently. I definitively would shop here if you like clothes that are like the «Garage» brand or anything that is skater, California style.

Yesterday (12÷10÷13) I walked into this zumiez and found a $ 200 Nixon watch that I loved. I asked the only person working (he had dreads) if I could put the watch on hold. He said yes, wrote my name on the box, and told me no worries. I came back the next night and what do you know someone sold my watch. As he was looking for it he said «oh well a lot of douchebags put stuff on hold» it was literally 24 hrs since I had been to the store. The whole store was completely unorganized and I was basically told «too bad» by their young, unprofessional staff. I understand it’s just a skate shop, but some level of professionalism should be had when dealing with a $ 200 order. Both people working had no clue where their merchandise went or what they had sold.

Took my son in here to get a new deck for his skateboard, and every single person working there greeted us and got us right to what we needed. They have package deals on boards, trucks and wheels and we ended up getting a whole new board. I was really impressed with how friendly and engaging the people were; they obviously enjoy working here. The manager built my son’s new board while we waited, was actively directing the other people to help customers, and was connecting with us the whole time. Really good experience at this cool store.

I know it’s going to be hard to believe, but I am not a skater… yes, shocking. I’ve been to Barton Creek mall hundreds of times and have never noticed this store before. This time I was with someone who was looking for a gray shoe, so this led me to many stores I have never been into. Walking into Zumiez I didn’t have any expectations, because for once this shopping trip was not for me. The two guys working (and I am hitting myself for not getting their names) were so awesome. They really helped my shopping partner find what he was looking for and were so helpful and friendly in the process, they actually have me considering getting a board… okay… maybe not, but I will at least come back to get a t-​shirt.
