Great food and great date place. I recommend this place for ambience and food selection. Take any gold diggers here and you will hear them speaking plus the food is great. Wine lushes will like the wine here and it won’t break you financially.

Zed’s has a very pleasant atmosphere and the waitstaff is great. I was a disappointed with my entrée this trip. I ordered the Full Rack ribs, which the menu claims they are«baby back ribs.» Unfortunately, they were spare ribs. I’m not a fan of spare ribs, as they are usually tougher and fattier than baby back, and this was certainly the case here. They did have a good flavor but were a little overdone. Bottom line, don’t order the ribs(unless Zed’s switches to a real baby back rib). Everyone else enjoyed their food. I’ll probably be back.

This is a fantastic spot. Definitely a five in my book. It only had one miss. I waited in my truck before lunch for my friends to arrive. It was a smallish parking close to the restaurant and a larger one nearby as part off JC Penny’s. When I was much younger I worked at a restaurant. The manager was adamant that workers parked at the end of the lot so the customers could get close. I admired that. The manager here needs a lesson. While waiting, half a dozen folks parked and went in to work, in a small lot so many of the workers parked up front that it looked packed. Not only an inconvenience for customers, but could lose some if they thought it was full. Oh well, once inside it was a fabulous restaurant. The style was spot on. The wait staff was impeccable — not too aloof, there when needed, and not a single miss. I had the chicken cashew salad for lunch and it was divine. I want to come back immediately to try more of the menu. I just wish I didn’t live so far away! Try anything and it will not disappoint.

Best FRENCHDIP in town, hands down. Prime rim cooked in house and piled high on a soft hoagie bun with perfectly creamy horseradish sauce and a side of au jus. OMG if you miss a good French Dip, cry no more. You have been found at Zed’s. Plus, you have two options of mashed potatoes if comfort food is your kind of thing. Mm mm!

Extremely good for business lunches. I would like to see a few more options on the menu, but I wasn’t disappointed.

Very expensive. Went there for a team lunch. They do not have much options for vegetarians or vegans.

My Sirloin was a little cold my second one was just right, however not much flavor and same with the dessert. The staff was great. Our server Jake was very friendly and informed. Nice lighting and great backyard view. I would come back for drinks /entertainment only. Just skip the food

Food was great, service not so much. Not awful, but not the friendliest bunch of people. On a little warmer day, outside seating is highly recommended. The live band was really nice to listen to. My sister and I both got the golden beet salad and were able to substitute the shrimp for our preferred protein. Overall, great place to grub on a Sunday Brunch!

Great happy hour. The brunch also is nice, and I wish this was more than just a Sunday thing. Once had a bad experience with another regular guest here, but to no fault of management. I always come here if I want a nice meal close to home.

I love this restaurant! I’m sad to see any reviews less than 4 stars… This is the go to spot my boyfriend & I come for date nights because 1) Scenery is so beautiful, bar and patio area especially 2) Staff is always so friendly(Loved when Thomas worked there, Febe is so sweet) 3) Food is always on point and last but not least… 4) Texas Side Car is amazing!!! Literally my favorite whiskey drink ever. And I have not found another place that can make it quite like the bartenders at Zeds. Always always tell my friends about this place! You won’t be disappointed!!!

We had dinner here New Years Eve and I was a bit underwhelmed. The good: Great reservation accommodations and friendly service. The mediocre: Food was decent and portions were fair. Dinner was also served in a good turnaround for a busy night. The ugly: If I ask for a steak to be well done, please cook it thoroughly. The first filet that came out was medium rare so we butterflied it and ask them to recook and the second one came out even worse!

Ambiance: 2 stars. It looks like someone redecorated the Village Inn with nannas old lamps… I’ll let it slide… This time… Service: 4. The girl was training, so I’ll let it slide… This time… The food: 4 stars. Got some salads. They were pretty cool. Puff on the cheeb and grub on the crab gnocchi and for a brief moment, you’ll forget you’re at dimly lit Denny’s. Just kidding. That’s pretty harsh. It’s more like a hotel lobby.

An oasis in the northern most point in Austin. It’s my new spot when traveling back to HQ. I ordered the Grilled Chicken with fruit which was fresh and delectable. The presentation was excellent. The architecture, décor, landscape and surrounding area are all the setting for my dream restaurant.

The restaurant looks really nice. Tried to go to their«Jazz brunch» with some family I had in town. Planned some events around their brunch that goes from 12 – 4 but got there 10 after 3 pm to be told that the music goes on to 4, but the food stops being served at 3. I can’t review the food because I didn’t eat here yet. I just wanted to make sure others are aware. Looking back at their menu, it does say brunch is 11 – 3; however, the flyers for the Jazz brunch til 4 are confusing. Will update when I finally get to go back.

We came here for a Sunday brunch. The service is awesome. We were seated promptly, and the server was there immediately asking what we wanted to drink. I had a carafe of mimosa, which is very tasty and quite generous for only $ 6.5. The roomie had a greyhound which was very refreshing. We decided ti split the Chicken and waffles and a side of bacon. I really liked the bacon. It was thick cut and very crispy. The chicken and waffles comes with whiskey sauce. I would have preferred they would put it on the side but it was still delicious. The waffle was fluffy. My only real complaint was the chicken fried chicken. It didn’t have a lot of flavor. You need the whiskey sauce to add flavor. As we were walking in there was a cold breeze blowing so we opted to sit inside. We regretted later when we walked around the grounds and realized how nice it was outside. The jazz starts at noon, so if you are going for brunch, I suggest you get there then.

Tried this place because I saw such good reviews. It was delicious I got the steak and blu cheese salad and it was simple yet yummy. Loved the atmosphere went it real casual and with my 2 year old and was hoping it wasn’t going to be to fancy. It’s a very nice place and the patio was awesome I joked with my boyfriend I wana get married here. Staff was very friendly and when I couldn’t find a quarter for my daughter to feed the koi fish that they have outside the hostess gave me one. Super awesome and we will be back to try more entrees

Chad’s eSCAPE review. Service(+). Wonderful wait staff. Very friendly and quick. Cost(+). Offers some great lunch choices at reasonable prices. The portions are huge and you never leave hungry. Atmosphere(+). Very well decorated inside. It has the flare of being an upscale restaurant and may be in the evenings. I have only ever eaten lunch there. The outside is beautifully landscaped to include a waterfall. In the summer though, I am surprised all the water doesn’t evaporate. Palate(+). Amazing! I recently ordered the Zed’s reuben and I don’t even like reubens. It is now one of my favorites. The sweet potato fries as well were amazing. Everything Else. I believe it is more geared for dinners and I haven’t eaten dinner there yet so I cannot fully commit to a perfect rating. There seems to be a full bar as well in the other dining area. I am a repeat lunch customer though.

Stellar customer service and scrumptious food! Stopped in on a whim and was delightfully surprised this beautifully landscaped restaurant is hidden back there with JCPENNEY. Walking up to the door they have a water feature stocked with koi fish and also more water features in the back. This place is so very pretty with all the ambiance you can tell someone really thought this place out, architecturally speaking. Our server was great, when we flagged down the bus boy for menu suggestions he happily shared his favorite dish with us. It’s hard to find great service these days but ALAS it’s still alive and well after all! We ordered the French Dip and Antelope burger both were very yummy we even shared a bite with each other! We sat outside and it looks like they have live music. This would be a great spot to have a few cocktails and enjoy some music on a summer night. Their drink menu has lots of specialty drinks and cocktails. I tried the White Hate Blueberry Mojito it was a bit weak on the alcohol but that’s okay it was late afternoon! The mix was very refreshing and exactly what a Mojito should be; simple yet delicious! Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely go back. Oh and, you too should go here its worth every penny!

I thought the food was great! We went in time for Happy hour so we saved a little money on a couple of dishes. We got the kobe sliders with sweet potato fries(didn’t try them), the ribs with French fries(very good — fall off the bone), the bacon macaroni and cheese(cheesy and as expected), Antelope burger(amazing! I do not typically enjoy alternate meat burgers but I’d go back for this one!), chicken fried chicken(very good with mushrooms, cream gravy and delicious mashed potatoes), and the crab dip. The dip was my least favorite because it was runny and the bread they provide wasn’t the best for the dip but it was still good. We will definitely be back!

Amazing brunch! Portions and price point is perfect for this hip little brunch spot. Inside is comfortable and outside is quite beautiful. Only bad thing was that the 3 piece jazz band set up right behind our table was too loud to talk while eating and having drinks. Mimosa caraffe was inexpensive, and the bloody Mary may be one of the best in town with its complex, sweet/sour/spicy rim. I can’t wait to go back again for brunch and try the rest of the menu.
