I lost my usual Sisterlocks consultant, so I looked for another consultant online. I contacted another woman in Austin, but she didn’t respond, so I moved on to Greg. Greg’s salon is a bit out of the way for me, since I live in Leander, but my visit was worth the trip.
Greg was prompt, friendly and professional. He did my re-​tightening in a reasonable amount of time and did an excellent job. It looks like I have a new Sisterlocks consultant!

I have taken my daughters to Mr. Greg Day every 6 – 8 weeks for the past 2+ years. I am not exaggerating when I say he changed my life! I am a white mother raising two beautiful African American daughters, and I knew I had to do something about their hair. Greg installed Sisterlocks on both my girls, and he now does a beautiful job of maintaining their locks regularly. Instead of getting unsolicited hair advice when we’re out in public places, now I get compliments and questions — people ask me where I take my girls for their hair. I am so grateful to Greg for the work that he does.
One other noteworthy thing — he works quickly. My younger daughter has VERY thick hair and a bazillion locks, and he finishes her entire tightening in about two hours.
I trust and admire Mr. Greg Day, both professionally and personally. He gets 5 stars all the way!

Greg Day has been cutting my hair for over 15 years. I’ve followed him as he’s changed location at least twice. Greg is not cheap, but he’s very good. I got my hair cut by Greg before my wedding, before my job interviews, before big parties where photos will be taken. I know it’s going to come out great. It always does.
I knew I had found a winner when he cut my hair the first time and asked me many questions about the way I wanted it to look. The second time I came to get my hair cut he CONSULTED HIS NOTES from the first time when he had asked me questions!!!
Greg knows his stuff, too. He can make suggestions based on the shape of your face, etc. Always friendly and professional. I’d recommend Greg to anyone.

Greg Day is an awesome stylist for African American women seeking natural hairstyles. He is also knowledgeable about all hair types. He began my sisterlocks when I initially relocated to texas. I can honestly say that his professionalism and business savvy are impeccable.
