I was driving down Burnett and saw a sign for BBQ. As a sucker for BBQ, i pulled in and learned there is a farmers market here. Got out and found this BBQ trailer tucked in the back. Ordered up a pulled pork plate with tortillas and chips and beans. The pulled pork was dry rubbed and not swimming in sauce like most places(woohoo!). It was perfectly smoked, and very delicious. I think this may be my favorite pulled pork in Austin. The tortillas were hot and fresh. Their beans were fantastic, had great spices and bits of pulled pork chunks. Also their sauce was great, had a great heat, tasted homemade. I will most definitely be back, this place reminded me of when I first experienced Franklin 2 years ago. Can’t wait to try their brisket. I love to find young business owners with a passion for putting out great food with great service. I am holding out the last star for when I can try their brisket.

AMAZING! Joe is a really nice individual, and sure knows how to cook! I’ve sampled all of their tortas, which i find to be without peer! the blend of the fresh cheese avocado and slaw really pair with the meats(which are also impeccably cooked) in a fantastic way. being a yankee, i feel hesitant to comment on the barbeque’s quality by a texas standard, but in my experience, it is some of the best i’ve ever tasted, hands down. On thursdays and saturdays there is a farmers market in the same lot, which is awesome!(food, veggies, vegan baked treats, soap and meats to name a few vendors!) please go visit these guys! their location is making it hard for them to get the traffic they deserve. also a tip. if you are headed up to them, park in the lot for the pour house(also go grab a beer post BBQ!) and walk back. there is access from old burnett rd, but its hard to see where to turn in unless you’ve allready been there!

We were totally surprised by this place. The food id fantastic and Joe was very pleasant. We had the sliders w/potato salad. The food is spicy without being overpowering. The avocado, queso fresco and corn slaw add a great unique flavor. This is amazing coming from a food trailer. Highly recommended.

i might be biased since I work next to the trailer, but this is REALLY good bbq! I took home lunch for the family: brisket plate and chicken plate with potato salad. I was bummed they ran out of their awesome cole slaw, but on the other hand, it’s nice to see they are doing brisk business on a Saturday and are running out of items. I loved the brisket, but the achiote smoked chicken is fantastic! Their chicken dispells the belief that chicken has to be a bland afterthought just to appease the non-beef eaters. I’ve had the chicken torta, also, and found it to be a great light lunch(saving half for later). I cannot end this review without mentioning the heavenly green sauce they give you to go. I don’t know what’s in it, but I love it. I had the leftover sauce on eggs this morning. Yum.
