This is a first for me, I don’t review but felt I needed to spread the love I have for WL&D’s work.
We (my boyfriend and I) have a big yard that we were at wits end trying to figure out what to do with. Marian sat with us and asked what we had visioned for our space before it became so wild and crazy. She listened intently and came up with the most efficient use of our outdoor space. Her design was exactly what we wanted.
The installation was just as wonderful. It was done in a timely manner and the crew was so professional.
If you’re looking for quality designs that won’t break your water bill, Waterloo Landscape & Design is the way to go. Thank you, Marian! We love drinking our beers in our awesome new space.

I had asked Waterloo Landscape and Design to do some work for me to give my front yard more curb appeal. I was very pleased with the results. They maximized the existing resources I had plus added in some very good ideas. Their work crew was prompt and diligent. They worked around my schedule to ensure I was not inconvenienced. Once they left the job site, it was clean and no evidence of the large amount of work that was done — only great curb appeal. I will definitely use them again and refer them to my friends.

Beware the wrath of your neighbors if you hire this company. The workers and the owner damaged neighbor’s fencing and landscaping, also city property, by running over whatever was in their path, even after promising not too. Then denied doing the damage. If you’re female, bring a guy with you and watch the owner mansplain it all away. So disrespectful.
Wow, since writing that first part. The owner’s partner, perhaps angry at this review, came back to do more damage to a privacy fence, then drove 5′ in and 20′ down a city contacted garden on city property, in front of multiple witness. The garden was to be part of a national walking tour in less than 24 hours. No words, except maybe 911.

I have worked with Waterloo Landscape and Design several times and am very pleased each time I deal with them. Marian is a very easy person to communicate with and she is committed to customer service and satisfaction. Getting advise and direction on what to do with our wreck of a backyard was easy. I got an estimate back from Marian very quickly and she was readily available to talk to discuss the plan and pricing. The design work Waterloo Landscape does is beautiful and I would call on them again to do work on our property.

Used Marian and Waterloo Landscaping again this year. This time to update and transform by front and back yards in order to get our house ready to sell. Marian and her crew arrived when they said they would, worked diligently and quickly to complete my project and it was done perfectly and beautifully. Her crew members are professional, SO polite and kind and just a great group of people in general. Her work is amazing, her prices are great and she delivers exactly what and when she said she would deliver. I can’t wait to use Marian to design all of the landscaping in our new home. Call her, you won’t be sorry!

Marian and her crew did a wonderful job on our lawn on very short notice. She even called after the work was done to see how we liked it. She returned phone calls and left messages. She is a true professional. I would use her again in a heartbeat.
