The inside is pretty dumpy(like most Walgreens). Incredibly slow drive thru service. Even if there is only one car in front of you, you’ll always be in line at least 10 – 15 minutes. I’ve taken my business down the street to CVS.

In and out in a flash 2 times today. Once for a prescription and once back for a milk that I don’t know where else I can buy it. A tip, take your items to the female decorations department. It is the fastest checkout!

The pharmacy window and tech Teresa are very slow. We watched her take care of people who walked up after we were already waiting. The pharmacist didn’t come and help either just stood back and watched. This Walgreens is by far the worse. Hutto needs to teach this store customer service!

Yeahhh, I’m so glad this is not my regular walgreens. It just honestly seemed like no one knew what they were doing and everyone was unfriendly. Just as an FYI, the really sweet«beauty consultant» as her name tag implied might be best in the beauty department not the pharmacy. Call me crazy, but when it comes to my prescriptions, I’m a fan of a pharmacist or pharm tech handling my stuff. She was a lovely lady, but we all have our place…

If you want any of those«as seen on tv» products and don’t know where to find it, they have it here! They have a whole section of the stuff for a pretty reasonable price. Unfortunately they didn’t have what I was looking for, but it wasn’t a tv item lol.

Beyond terrible. The last thing you need when you are sick is sitting in the Walgreen’s waiting area while the Keystone cops try to(unsuccessfully) print a label so you can pay for your medicine. There are a dozen other drugstores in this neighborhood, any of them would be better than this.

This location is always paaaaacked. Even if you’re just here to get a redbox movie, expect to wait in line. On the plus side, the cashiers always seem very nice.

Outstanding experience at the pharmacy yesterday. Was out of the drive through in less than 5 minutes. This at a late hour(past 9 pm). Thank you, Walgreens pharmacy for being open 24 hours and for the pleasant customer service.

So I happen to be on Unilocal to get the number for Walgreens to see what their pharmacy hours were. I call and unfortunately for him who picked up the phone in the pharmacy had to give me attitude about a simple question. Well the stars say it all. Better think twice next time. ;)

This is the Walgreens in my «hood» Always have had pleasant experiences here. From Pharmacy, to even the photo lab(got passport pics here) The old man with the curly fro who usually works check out late night has always been very friendly and helpful as well. Prices are on high end here, but come on, its not HEB and you can be in an out in under 2 mins. For that I will pay higher prices. Its a Walgreens, and its not a bad one is bottom line.

I just thought I’d write about my experience today with my friendly neighborhood Walgreens. I have insomnia, been up for 3 days and desperately need sleep. My Dr. prescribed Lunesta and I finally had(notice past tense) hope. I drop of my script and was told it would take 20 minutes so I decided to wait. After 20 minutes I sat in the waiting area and the cashier asks my name. When I give it to her she acts like she’s looking for my script then starts to help someone else. Another 10 minutes go by and I finally walk up to ask if my script is ready. The girl apologizes, looks around for a few minutes as though they lost my script. After she pulls it from the front bend I realize it was ready the entire time I was waiting, despite the fact the cashier asked my name and was looking for it initially. I leave at least hoping to get some sleep tonight. After I get home and an hour or so goes by, I open my script and realize they gave me a script for my allergy medicine and not the Lunesta. I call them up to find out where the Lunesta is. The pharmacist tells me that they don’t have it because it needs a verbal Dr. approval to the insurance before they can fill it. Did they ever tell me that when I was there, no. In fact, no one was ever going to tell me about this glitch until I asked about it and despite the fact I was there, dropped it off, told all was well and thought I left with it! Now its too late for my Dr. to call my insurance and thanks to my friendly incompetent neighborhood Walgreens, I will be having another sleepless night. Thank God it wasn’t a life depending medication. In that case, you’d be literally risking your life to use Walgreens… at least this sorry ass location.

There’s nothing like waiting in the pharmacy drive-through for almost half an hour for medication that has been stolen. My boyfriend dropped off his prescription on Monday, and they tell him that it will be ready by that day at five o’clock. They even called him a day or two ago to tell him that his medication is ready for pick up. So we finally get around to stopping by to pick it up today. First of all, the lady goes to get it. Five minutes elapse. Ten minutes roll by. Fifteen minutes, and we’re getting antsy. Twenty minutes before someone comes to help the people in the other lane, who not only pulled up after we did but also have to physically get out of the car to come over to the pick up window on our side to get their stuff. They drive off. By now twenty-five minutes have gone by, and we ask the guy that helped the previous people what’s taking so long. He replies that the girl that initially helped us is still looking for the medication. Ok… it would be nice if someone had told us this because by now a line was forming behind us. We wait five more minutes and a manager comes to the window, probably because she heard that there was a problem. She said that they were still looking for my boyfriend’s medication because there was a mix-up, and they thought it may have been placed in the wrong bin… I was appalled. How can there be a mix-up if just the day before they called and said it was ready to be picked up? Obviously it had been ready for a few days because the call was just a reminder. Obvious conclusion: It was stolen. It was there before(in the bin because we got the call saying it was ready), and now it’s gone. Then the manager proceeds to say that if we wanted to wait a few minutes, we could pull over because«the people behind you are going to start honking at you soon.» So now she’s blaming us for the long line… all we wanted to do was pick up medication. She uttered not one word of apology about the delay and instead tries to blame it on us. So we just pulled away asking them if they could call if they find it. Five minutes later, one of the pharmacists calls my boyfriend and presumes to say that he had already picked it up because they were looking through all the bins and couldn’t find it. Now they blame their customers for their employees stealing medications. How’s that for customer service? Needless to say, my boyfriend really needs this medication, which is why we didn’t leave just after ten minutes of waiting. If we hadn’t spoken to the manager directly, we would have complained. It was obvious that neither she nor anyone there have any customer service skills or a conscience. Also, note to the thief: Did you just assume that the medication would never be picked up just because it sat in the bin for almost a week? I hope they find you, fire you, and fry you in prison. Some people’s medications help them live even if they just help you get high. This place is not even getting –10 stars. I wouldn’t come get meds from here even if they were the last place on earth. Update: They just now called back, and the prescription was ”found.” Just goes to show even thieves read Unilocal

The pharmacy at this location is staffed by the super elderly and/or mentally infirm. And the main cashier at the front(in his late 50s) sports a wicked awesome curly wig. They’ve got a good candy selection.

one of the busiest walgreen’s too. not super coupon friendly. can give you the ‘oh, you can only use 1 coupon WHOLE coupon per transaction’ bs @ the cosmetic counter. i try to go to the manchaca WGs if i can. with CVS now opening @ the corner of mopac and william cannon, this WG might feel some pain and shape up a bit. but this location is very convenient. store is clean and organized. if they were more coupon friendly, i would shop there more often and have no gripes.
