I recently needed to replace my AC system and contacted 5 different companies in Austin. I couldn’t be more pleased with my selection or the results. Keith is extremely knowledgeable, meticulous to a fault l and very price competitive. You know the job is done right and to the highest standards. I rarely write reviews but I’m compelled to highly recommend these folks and when you come across service like this, it is a pleasure to be able to pass it along.

Absolutely I would recommend Keith WITHOUT reservation. He was a referral and being a single female, I am VERY skeptical of contractors and their ‘integrity’. This gentleman did exactly what he said he would do, when he would do it (even called when running late from either another job or traffic), and charged me very reasonable prices. He fixed both my A/​C and just recently, my heater. LOOK NO FURTHER, this is an outfit that cares about their customers hands down! I feel EXTREMELY lucky to have found them!

Woke up to a cold house so I did a quick search and found Keith here on Unilocal.He came out that afternoon and we were warm in a couple of hours. He was great about explaining exactly what the problem was and how much the replacement part would cost. He completed the repair in a timely manner and didn’t try to pack on extra labor charges by dragging out the work. I found him to be knowledgeable as well as personable and would not hesitate to use his services again. Thanks Keith!

Wow, came out on a Saturday and didn’t charge me a dime extra! Isn’t it always the luck that the first cold day falls right before a weekend and the heater fails?!
I found Keith from a google search and his ad said «same day service.» That was what I needed and sure enough he came out. He is an owner/​operator and doesn’t have staff. So if you call, you’ll get Keith and it will be Keith doing the work.
He told me he’s been at it for 35 years which was apparent. I tried not to stand over him while he worked, but was a little curious at first. He tested a few things that would have been super-​easy and I didn’t get quite that lucky. My unit is about 20 years old and as I’ve been told before, probably needs replacing. He kept testing and narrowed the problem down to a blower cutoff switch of some sort (he explained it to me and offered to show me on the schematic in some detail– I just can’t recall the name of the gadget.)
He told me the price range of the fix in advance and in the end came in about 15% under his estimate. He checked around two supply warehouses and found one that had my part. He came back within 30 minutes and quickly got my heater up and running.
We discussed the age of my unit and he gave me several options (no pressure and very relaxed) to replace. He also sent me some websites to research, discussed energy efficiency and what to consider as we look to upgrade our ancient unit: cost, energy savings, rebates, length of time in the home, payback, SEER rating, tonnage, timing to get best pricing, etc.
Glad to be up and running and glad I clicked Keith’s ad.
