My mother was here and I thought it was really good. There was not as much staff turnover as I expected and they were all incredible to my mom. The staff really makes the difference here. I also liked it because it was smaller than the big ones and seemed more homey — they really do try to make it like a home. People were very responsive to me and genuinely seemed to care about Mom. It was a very nice place for her to be these last years.

This is an excellent facility with a wide range of activities, events and food choices. The Pavilion at Great Hills offers both Assisted Living and a Memory Care Unit. The facility is upscale, clean and well maintained. We would recommend this facility because the staff at The Pavilion at Great Hills are VERY nice. When we were searching for a place for Mom, this facility had the nicest staff. From the start, and all the way through, there was a high level of compassionate care. Also, the amenities and services they offer such as a theater, library, game rooms, bingo, etc. are excellent. The high standards of care that we experienced at The Pavilion at Great Hills helped make a difficult experience bearable. Thank you to ALL of the staff at the Pavilion at Great Hills for all each of you did to assist, care for and love our MINNA. Leigh & Dee. (A review posted about The Pavilion before this update were not the views of this account holder but rather an evil sister-in-law that no longer has access to my stuff!)

This is a SLC community now… Run for the hills. Read the other reviews. This is only my opinion. We just moved out after being here prior to SLC. Look it up and do not bring your loved one into this place.

My Mother loves it here. When my Father’s health was failing the staff was very helpful and kind. My Father has since passed and my Mom continues to enjoy the many opportunitiies that are provided. The facility is beautiful. The food is good at breakfast, fine at lunch and just okay at dinner. They provide a decent gym, movie and game area. For those who can’t drive, they provide van rides for shopping and entertainment.

We have had extensive experience with this facility as my mother(memory care) and mother-in-law(assisted living) are living here. BEWARE! The care is inconsistant, the medications are often wrong(we have found over 20 mistakes between our two parents), the communication between caregivers does not exist, the staff is a revolving door at the point that the corporate office had to take over the facility to get it running. We have also caught the caregivers signing off on providing medications when they did not. Now that corporate is not there we are seeing, again, many issues. For example, it took over 90 minutes for my mother-in-law to get dinner the other day in the dining room. We pay around $ 5,000/month for my mother in memory care and can you belive the RN told us to bring juice for her to drink and that we can walk her because the staff does not have time. The sales agent is wonderful and the facility is beautiful, but the bottom line is the care of your parent and we have been completely dissatisified. If your parent needs little to no care then this facility would be okay but if you need real assistance do not consider Pavilion at Great Hills.
