Was a great place. Pulled up just now to find it out of business, shelves and such for sale. :(

My favorite hardware store. It is your old school store — tell them about the thing-a-bob you are looking fir and they will find it. Great service — just like your neighbor who knew a lot about everything and had those special tools. Bottom line — quick and friendly service, quality merchandise at a fair/competitive price and they are local!

I always shied away from this place because it’s small and I was worried they wouldn’t have what I needed. Well, now that I’ve been there, I can say that sometimes that’s true. But more often than not, they’ve got what I need. And they know where it is, and can give me advice about what else I might need to check out. The few times I’ve called ahead to see if they had what I needed, they set it up by the register to wait for my arrival. Prices are decent. Home Depot and Lowes have their cheaper store brand stuff, but that’s generally junk.

The Hardware store always is a good help for our family they have good service and good prices we always go to the store because we always have problems with the lock on the sign in the neighborhood so we go there when we need to replace a lock. very good store highly reccomend. especially if you are in the neighborhood sign business!

If you want a giant drill or skill saw that cuts three 2x4s at once. This is not the place to go. If you want a down home feeling and need some basic hardware supplies This is the spot.

Good old fashioned Hardware Store. They made me four keys in less than 5 minutes… and they worked like a charm-no problems when I got home. Given my past experience having keys made at other places this was a fantastic and welcome change. Also, the prices were Very reasonable.

This store has everything you would ever or never need. Like a walk back into 1950. I needed a key made, so in I went and got two made. Went home and neither would open my door. Here is the good part, told the woman at the front what happened and she nicely said, well we will try again. Made two new keys and polished the other two and said maybe they will work now. Asked her if she wanted anything extra for the other keys if they worked and she said, no, sorry you had to come back. Went home and all four worked. Will go back there for my hardware needs even if it is a little more than Home Depot.

I love this store! It’s conveniently located. There’s some other great stuff in this shopping center so it can be busy. But i’m cool with that since I do shop at a couple other stores in the center. The staff is extremely helpful. They walk you to what you need, give you advice and help with every project. All this without asking or waiting for help for a zillion hours like you would if you went to some Hell Depot or Lowes stores. I shop here, every time, and only go to the other most obnoxious stores if I absolutely must.

This is my favorite hardware store in the world. It’s locally owned so you will see the same smiling faces each time you go in. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. As said before in other reviews, it may not have absolutely everything you might be looking for, but they sure do have a lot of stuff. And if you’re not sure if they will have it, you can easily call ahead and ask so you don’t waste a trip. One of the things that hasn’t been pointed out in other reviews is that the rent out carpet cleaners and dollies and big stuff like that. Things you might need to use once or twice, but do not need to actually own. They also sell clothing and guns! Check this place out, because it feels better giving your dollar to another person just like you instead of a corporation that is attempting to take over the world.

This place is like the hardware stores I remember from when I was a kid. Bins and trays and boxes of screws, nails and pipe fittings? Check. Reels of wire, chain and rope? Yup. Coveralls, duck-billed caps and camping gear? Uh-huh. Mysterious, dusty cardboard boxes of who-knows-what lurking on low shelves, in corners and behind other merchandise? You bet. Oh yeah, they also have tools. :) The main difference between this place and the hardware store in my hometown is that it hasn’t been there since the bronze age, so you’re not gonna miraculously find a part for a gizmo that hasn’t been made in 50 years. Prices are competitive on all the core items for which I make a «quick run» to the hardware store, screws, bolts, paint thinner, a dowel or two. Now for the BIG down side. It is in the same strip mall as the Asia Market. At lunch time a breeze wafting from the direction of their restaurant will whither your resolve to get right back home and finish your project… next thing you know, you’re stuffed to the gills with Chinese food and lugging groceries AND hardware back to the house.

My favorite hardware store. Locally owned — great advice — and has the part without the headaches of the Super Megastore. It has moved a time or two — but the service and the store are GREAT.

It is not large enough to hide a 747 in. It’s smaller than DKR Stadium. It’s aisle numbers remain in single digits. It does not have a store map, nor it’s own zip code. Unlike Home Depot, it is not run by a giant corporation which donates to right-wing candidates I abhor. Unlike Lowe’s it does not have every possible tool or type of building material for every project imaginable. If you are building your own lunar module, and absolutely must have electroplated corrugated platinum panels, The Hardware Store might not be for you. But if you need a bolt or screw or tool, or a plumbing part or an electrical fixture, and you’d like to not have to pack a lunch when you set off to find it, give these guys a try. They are a locally-owned and operated store, with a TrueValue brand, but it’s a store like the old days – there’s a guy – one guy – you ask for just about everything, and he knows where just about everything is, and will take you there. You can be in and out of there in 10 minutes, less time than it would take you to get halfway down one aisle at the Meglomart Home Center. I like these guys – they are big enough to have what I need most of the time, and small enough that I don’t end up buying a lot of crap I don’t need just because I walked past it 4 times trying to find a single wood screw or carriage bolt.
