These are decent duplexes and the neighborhood is relatively quiet. Professional lawn care maintenance is included in the rent, so the yards never get ragged looking. People who live here have pride in their homes and it’s not trashy like some duplexes I’ve seen. Maintenance responds quickly to reported issues with the appliances, bugs, etc. Each place has a single car garage and fenced back yard. Washers and dryer hookups are out in the garage. The units are a little dated, but management has done a lot the past couple of years to upgrade. Rent must be paid in cash, check, or money order. You have to either drop it off at their office or mail it in. Office and maintenance staff are really friendly!

I’ve lived here twice, years ago and just got back online to check out the prices here — man have they gone up big time! wow! omg! They never use to be this high! I remember when the 3 bedroom ran about $ 895 a month I think. I checked them out about 2 years ago and told them I was thinking about getting a dog and they charge $ 10 a month for you having a pet — I use to have a dog when I lived here years ago and they never did that before — why not charge $ 10 a month for having a child there? lol plus they charge an arm an a leg for deposit for a pet too(just like an apartment). I remember one time when I lived here I needed something replaced and it was about a month before we were to move out and they never replaced this item(I forgot what it was) then on top of it they were trying to charge me for something they never replaced! It is required that if you need something done, they are suppose to replace it regardless — I should have turned them in to the Austin Tenants Council for that. I also remember years ago(about 16 years ago) the first time my ex husband and I moved in here, there was Mr. Lopez and his first wife that maintained the community and I remember Mr. Lopez being so nice, BUT Ms. Lopez was something else! I remember talking to her about living here and this was when my youngest son was only about 2 or 3 years old at the time and she asked me if he was a good kid and also asked if he runs around outside freely — what kind of question is that? First of all, I resent the fact of one asking me if my child is good or not and asking about my son roaming around freely — another thing is my son was not bad and I do not let him run around freely outside either without supervision! Ms. Lopez was very particular about clean up when one moves out too but in a way I can see her point but wow she was so strict I was afraid to do anything wrong! She is no longer there(thank goodness). I would think twice about living here.
