Cynthia is great! My wife and I highly recommend her! She does a great job every time! It takes a while to find someone who can cut your hair how you like it and looks good, she is also very friendly!

Meh. I would give a 3.5 if i could. Good haircut, friendly stylist, and I had zero wait. But for the price of $ 22 (that’s with tip) I like to have a stylist that will suggest how I get my hair cut when I express that I am unsure what I want. Also, I’m really cheap, and because my hair is easy to cut I feel like I could get the same haircut at a sport clips for almost $ 10 less.

No one does mah hair like take 5. Laurel is our favorite stylist but they are all great. She does great waxing too. My brow hasn’t looked this good in years. So happy I found you. Good prices and great device.

I wanted to find a place that didn’t over charge just to cut bangs. I called ahead, and it was only $ 6, other places around were quoting $ 11-​$ 15!!! Yeah right! I went in to have some bangs cut, and waited just a short time while Alex, (she looked like the only stylist working at the time, but it was only a Monday mid-​day.) She seemed to be wonderful with kids, she handled this little 1 – 2 yr old boy awesomely. Anyhow, she cut my bangs perfectly, I love them. I would go back to try Alex again when I need a hair cut. In conclusion, it was a bright, clean space, with two PS2’s in the waiting area to play on. They had a great stylist, and prices! Ask for Alex!

Called this place today after work and asked if they were open and could trim my bangs, they said yes. When I walked in the door 5 minutes later there was no other customers present and two available female stylists. I said hi, I just need my bangs trimmed to which the stylists replied, sorry there is no one who cuts female hair here. What the hell? They are BANGS people– its not rocket science! Boo to take 5.

I always visit this place for my haircuts and cleanups. I typically ask/​wait for Alex. She does a great job and is very personable.
Haircuts run $ 17, cleanups are around $ 10.

Quick and dirty haircuts on the cheap. As long as you go in with these expectations, you’ll come out okay.

If you value the hair on uour head DO NOT LET SAMANTHA CUT YOUR HAIR!!! My fiancé went to get his haircut this evening and he is too nice to say anything but a drunk blindfolded person could have done a better job! It looked like I left a small child alone with a pair of scissors and they cut their own hair!!! It was uneven everywhere and patchy over his entire head! He said that she took maybe an entire 5 minutes to cut his hair and either didn’t care that she made his head look like a disaster or she is just too stupid and ill trained to realize what she had done!!! When he got home we had to go to the store and buy a pair of clippers so I could shave his head to fix what she had done!!! So if your a fan of paying for a shitty haircut and then having to turn around and buy a new pair of clippers to fix the mess by all means have Samantha cut your hair!!!

I went here to get a cut and a color. The girl there Samantha did such a bad job I had to go back and get another girl to fix the cut and the color was so bad she didn’t even touch my roots. They wouldn’t offer me a refund just to «fix» it. After $ 100 it shouldn’t need to be fixed. I didn’t trust them enough to go back and get the color fixed. If you are a woman thinking of going here please think otherwise. They really destroyed my hair.

I have used Take 5 a number of times and have very pleased with the cuts. My wife has always liked the results as well. While they primarily cater to men, they also do cuts for women. They a couple of video games and several TVs setup to kill the time while waiting for your cut.

I have taken my son to Take Five several times and he has had very inconsistent hair cuts. At first he was getting great haircuts so I had my husband go, but recently its seems they have gone down hill. The last few times they have come home and asked me to fix their haircut. Take Five is very close to our house so it was an easy quick haircut but after our last visit we have given up on the place. The hair dresser was very rude to us as we waited quietly for a haircut. She let us know very rudely that we signed in wrong because I signed my husband and son’s name on the same line. We waited and finally decided to leave because of her attitude. As we quietly and respectfully got up to leave my son heard her say,“come again” sarcastically. We will never be back again. In fact we left and went down the road and had a very pleasant experience at Great Clips.

I always get what I want there. They always get it right. That’s why I keep coming back. It’s not easy to find a place that will be patient and understanding w/​such picky customers. I liked that I can watch tv while getting a cut or play some video games while I wait.

Took the 12yo gent to get his overgrown hair reeled back into civility. This place lands in my sweet find list — close to home AND they exceeded my expectations. Kid’s been getting haircuts at the local drive-​by franchise hair choppers and the last one was a relative nightmare. Anyway, Take 5 dusted them. Salon is immaculate. Seating area behind the chairs is perfect. Now I don’t have to hope for an empty chair next to the little chap just to keep an eye in him without looking like a creepy lurker mom. Alaina was his stylist and she was awesome. Made him comfortable, gave him the cut he wanted, didn’t flinch from his awkwardness, and she was super fast. I get crushing chest pains watching a less-​skilled stylist labor with the scissors over and over and still get a half-​assed result. No, not today, my friends. I think this place is perfect for kids and dudes. No gimmicks, no towering wall of product to be peddled. Just solid, friendly service.

Got a great haircut here. Fast, friendly, affordable. No fuss, and convenient to both my home and office.
I prefer Mindy, who is always fun to talk to and consistently cuts my hair well. (And if you are a geek, she is a dead-​ringer for the Baroness, so make of that what you will.)

So before I found out about VP Salon I used to visit Take Five on Parmer. There were a couple of hairdressers at Take Five who totally rocked and I would always look for when I came in. Unfortunately, there were also quite a few who were down right terrible. I think that I would have been happier if I had made reservations for the couple of hairdressers that I liked best.
The haircuts are around $ 17. Consistency is what I shoot for when I look for a hairdresser, and unfortunately, my cuts were inconsistent.

I’ve been getting my haircut here every month for the past year and I LOVE IT! Screw sports clips and the corporate bulls#@%!! Take5 has 5 or 6 big flat screens with sports on them all the time. The best part is the service though! Ask for Maribel!!! She does a great job, and she’s HOT! Rather inexpensive and they have everything from hair coloring, waxing, etc.
