We have used Startech about three times, the last one being over a year ago,
but apparently they no longer respond when a customer has a need. Perhaps
they are «too big for their britches» now, but we called them and left a request
to call us for four straight days. NEVER a response. They have a message on
their phone that tells us how «popular» they are. Great, except that they are
so «popular» that they ignore people. I do not recommend wasting time on
this bunch. We found someone (Malco) that responded immediately.

They quoted me a fair price on the phone to change out a dryer electric socket, came by promptly, then even ended up throwing in a breaker too when that was also found to be defective. The tech was great chatting with, and had an honest vibe — he gave me some electrical tips, and I probably know more than I need to about arcing now!

Startech came to our office and replaced some pendant lights that had been giving us a ton of problems. They showed up promptly and gave us a couple of lighting options that would solve the problem. I was impressed with how they were able to think outside of the box and give us a creative solution that was much more cost effective than replacing everything, like other companies had suggested. They started the work on the spot and finished before I knew it. I highly recommend these guys and plan on using them for all of my electrical needs!

I have used StarTech twice for a variety of electrical needs and could not be more pleased. Shane is extremely professional, knowledgable and friendly. On a couple of projects, he talked me through the pros and cons of various options and helped me get to a better solution than what I originally thought I needed — saved me money in doing so. I’ve never recommended anyone on Unilocal before but Shane and StarTech are so great, I felt compelled to give them a big «thumbs up».

Today, I had StarTech Electric do some electrical work, including running new lines for new appliances, relocating an ethernet cable and outlets, and fixing a broken ballast. They were prompt, efficient and very nice. Before they started, they gave me another option that saved me an extensive amount of money from the original quote. I highly recommend them.

These guys are like finding a great friend. They are courteous, responsive and devoted to doing the job right. My wife and I had the guys come over when we bought our foreclosure deal and needed some projects done immediately. They were affordable, polite and just all around nice and friendly. I highly recommend them and wish more folks would review them and post here because they deserve 5 stars all the time.
