Scott Parris – Central Austin Property

I highly recommend Scott Parris. We successfully purchased a home in Steiner ranch within a month of relocating to Austin. Scott was extremely responsive and always made time to show any houses we were interested in. Most importantly, he goes above and beyond to make the entire process as stress free as possible. We were stuck in a hotel room with two small kids until we moved into our new house and without Scott there is no way we would have been in the house as quickly as we were. He worked tirelessly to get our broker, the seller, the seller’s agent, and the roof repair company aligned to get things done on time. To top it off, he not only sends emails reminding us to setup utilities and transfer warranties, but attaches the relevant documents and references specific page numbers for where we can find all the relevant information. The little things make a huge difference — we could not have asked for anything more from Scott, and I am glad we were able to find and close on a house with him.

Scott was our realtor for our first home purchase. We met Scott at an open house, and decided to work with him (vs. other realtors we’d met) as he listened to our budget and location preferences and sent us listings for homes that were in our price range (rather than $ 50−100k higher) and in the neighborhoods where we were looking to buy. Scott was very attentive to our needs, very helpful in helping us find a home, and an expert guide with everything from the offer through the closing. He stayed in touch with all parties from financing to the seller to make sure there were no hurdles at our closing.
We would recommend Scott to anyone looking to purchase in Central Austin and have already done so to friends who are moving to the area.
