Ok so I got another cornrow style on 6÷4÷16 by Patience. See pix. This style was a remake of a style I did on my own head. What you don’t see is the single cornrow going from the base to the crown of my head in the back because of how my hair was put up. This day, Patience appeared extremely distacted by 2 visitors, her son and her pastor. They came at 2 different times. I understood her child being there for a few min to be picked up. What I couldn’t get is how quickly she forgot my request as her braiding technique went from gentle and patient to tight and fast. Yeah, her son was irritating her and I in turn felt this emotion on my scalp.
I told her during my 1^st visit, via email, and this visit how sensitive my hairline is. I also repeatedly told her when the braid she started was too tight. Hmp, she even told me I «complained» and how I was the only person who told her she braids too tight. Patience even said she would apply edge control and start the row further back as if that’s going to make it looser.
I admit she asked me several times if a braid was too tight. A few days later. Patience asked if my hairline relaxed. That’s where the credit ends. Btw I ended up w small bumps in different areas of my hairline because it was so tight. This is also something I warned her would happen if her braiding is too tight.
Both a comb and hair extensions fell to the floor. In turn, those same items were used in my head. Why?!
When I got home and took a closer look at my new do, I noticed the up do was on the sloppy side. A few days later, it was starting to come down. Also, Patience used to much gel at the start of some of the rows. This resulted in caked, flaking gunk that I picked off. So much for thinking she was on point with styling.
Ms. Patience seems to be a cool person, but I won’t be returning. I care to keep my hairline. Oh, I returned a 2^nd time to give her the benefit of doubt. Mo hair.

I made an appointment for Saturday Apr 2^nd @ 3 pm. I received a call later that the lady booked me incorrectly, so it would be 4pm. I was ok with that. I am driving a few feet away and my cell goes off. I was driving, so didn’t answer. When I pull up to the front door, which is 3:50 pm (10 minutes early), the same person (can’t understand her name, but both calls to change appt were from 208−241−8XXX left a voicemail that her current appointment was taking longer than she anticipated and if I could come in at 5pm. Are you serious!!! I almost called back, but was so ticked off, I just drove away. I couldn’t believe it. If you are the owner, you should consider another line of work. Absolutely disappointing. I’d give ZERO stars if I could.

Maryalice in Studio 9 was excellent! It was my first time going to her last week and her expertise and knowledge of hair was on point since I had no clue what I wanted done. She cut and layered my hair and highlighted it as well. She made sure it was the best that could be done and went an extra step and put toner in it to bring out the color even more. She is very sweet and kept me entertained as well. Will definitely go back again!

Chelo is awesome!!! She is a great person and a great stylist, she really knows what she is doing ! I recommend her 100%. I got highlights and the Brazilian blowout. My hair is amazing, it looks healthier and without frizz. It is very worthy. I would totally trust her to work on my hair. The best stylist I’ve ever had…

MaryAlice has easily become my new go to hair stylist. I visited her for the first time this week and she took the time to listen to what I wanted done with my hair. I came in for a haircut, deep condition, highlights, style and cut. She took her time throughout it all and it was clear she has years of experience. She made me feel comfortable and transformed my one dimensional damage hair into beautiful rich brown locks with layers of gold highlights. I am so glad I found her and will be going back to see her in the future.

MARYALICE HYNES ROCKS! — This gal knows what she is doing with hair! She is patient and takes her time to listen to what you are asking for! She has done many things with my hair. Keratin treatment, color, touch up, hi-​lights etc. She recently helped me go from long, thick, bushy hair to and adorable short curly cut (we did this in about 3 steps to make sure I got to the length I wanted. Like I said, she is very patient and attentive to your needs!) I love my new «do» and would highly recommend Maryalice to anyone! Oh, … she also cut my husband’s long hair! Shaped it up and made him look more handsome than ever!!! (She also did a great job trimming his bushy eyebrows and gotee. (sp?) :) :) :)
Salons by JC is a great concept! You can get almost any beauty need taken care of there! Very courteous and professional, also! ‘Love this place! I give it a 10 out of 10!

I started Approximately 2yrs at Salons by JC, and Im so happy that I did. Its a Modern Salon Concept in this industry and it is Genius. I love the Concept of Luxury Suites, my clients absolutely love the privacy and I love that I can decorate my Suite as I please. Ms Dana is always on top of things maintaining the building, ensuring the common areas are clean, presentable and smelling nice. Ms Dana is also great at greeting my clients, and helping me with my orders, getting delivered safely, if Im not there. In addition I really love all the security that is in place for ours and our clients safety. Everyone is extremely professional its a great work environment, I know Ill be here for a very long time.

I have never been loyal to anybody that cut my hair, male or female but that all changed 3 years ago when I happened to come across Danny Maltagoya. The man is an artist who takes pride in his craft and his new studio at JC Salons is top notch. Needless to say I have never had anyone else touch my hair since I met Danny .

There are barbers and there is Danny/​Maltagoya. After many horrible haircuts Danny cut my boys hair today and they look awesome! Finally they all loved their new look and Danny is patient and thoughtful. Will be back for all of the haircuts to come. Thanks Danny!

Brenda Cisneros is amazing and a truly gifted stylist. I started seeing Brenda when my daughter treated me to a cut and color last year for Mother’s Day. It was the perfect gift for someone whose hair was long, shapeless and box colored at home. Brenda is my miracle worker. I look and feel at least ten years younger since Brenda became my hairdresser. One of the biggest complements I got was this past August at a convention when my boss’ wife didn’t recognize me. Last week a co-​worker showed me a picture from my pre-​Brenda days and I looked awful. I insisted she take a new photo and delete that horrible one. Thank you Brenda for making such a difference in my life.

Salons by JC is a beautiful well maintained modern concept salon for individuals to lease a room where you can have your own small business without all the extra overhead expenses & responsibilities of a small business owner. I currently have my business here and I am very thankful to have such an opportunity to run my small business here. The place is always very clean and kept in a business like manner. Operating a quiet relaxing spa in a salon with over 30 individuals and their clients can get very hectic. The manager/​owner does a fabulous job keeping this place professional and quiet. I highly recommend having your business here and visiting with the other talented business owners. There is someone for everyone here.

I went to Kimberly Pierce last night and had an amazing experience. She colored my hair and it turned out exactly as I wanted. She was kind and made sure my experience was nothing short of perfect. I look forward to getting future work with her.

I was recently seen by an amazing, sweet, caring person named Victoria Cantu. Her hands are the hair of God. She knows EXACTLY what’s she’s doing and actually cares of the health of your hair. She did exactly what I wanted to my hair in about 2 hours. I got a cut and color and will be returning back because she is the best!
If you ever want to come here make sure you go to Victoria!

Review for Kimberly (hair colorist). SO UNHAPPY WITH SERVICE!!! I booked my hair cut/​color for a friend and I a week ago and sent emailed pictures of our requested hair color. The day of the appointment (2 hours before), I called to confirm and she let me know that she didn’t have anything CLOSE to the hair color I’d emailed, the only color she had was red. As I took off work for this appointment, I am livid and strongly suggesting you do not visit this woman. When I told her I felt upset that she failed to let me know this before the day of the appointment she said «okay.», not even an «I apologize»!! She was very rude to me and I will not be going back.

«Skin Body Soul» Laurie Hoyt (Estetician) review: facials are affordable, luxurious, thorough and long! I never feel rushed here. She steams my face and does extractions too! Her products all smell wonderful and are all safe. She has done peels on me too which are very effective for getting baby soft skin again. She also has done eyebrow shaping that looked great! She is experienced and it shows.
I go once per month and in 6 months I have seen a HUGE improvement in my skin!!! It looks the best it has looked in over 5 years! I no longer use harsh acne medications or retin-​a products.
If you want to improve your skin, I highly recommend Laurie. She is also very easy to talk to, listens closely and has a calm relaxed energy that is very soothing and healing.

I had a great experience here. I originally contacted Justin about a same-​day hair color emergency. Since he was already booked for the day he referred me to another stylist in the building, Lisa Marie.
Lisa Marie did a fantastic job with my hair color, and Justin even stopped by to check on me in between his clients!
I like the privacy of the individual salons in this building and the sense of community and camaraderie between the stylists and management. They take care of each other!

I found them through living social deal. super cheap gel mani and pedi by Denise. She gave me the appointment on my first call for next day right after I bought deal which is rare. She took all the time to make my nails look awesome. she was professional and very kind. I have also been offered the same price for my future visit which is great too. The place is quiet and clean.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star most horrible place ever !!! Management is horrible!!! If your not single don’t go there if you kid laughs or cry you will be kicked out ! People need to learn their manners I wouldn’t even take my dog there !!!

I am kind of surprised by a lot of the reviews as I had a completely different experience. I bought a groupon for this company as it was only $ 20 for a Women’s haircut and conditioning treatment which I needed so I decided to cash it in. I called the number and Kimberly Pierce was my stylist. I booked my appt on the first call and showed up on time and it went wonderfully. She was so easy to talk to, fun to work with, was really attentive to detail on my long hair with layers, and I really enjoyed working with her that I tipped 50% of the groupon total itself! I highly recommend Kimberly Pierce. I even am trying to book an appointment with her to simply style my hair for an Engagement Shoot next week. She is super sweet and I think regardless of some of these reviews you guys should try her out! I am somewhat of an introvert but we talked about everything there is to talk about and the time flew by and my hair looks amazing and feels so much healthier now!
