Rick’s Air Conditioning & Heating

I had the bad fortune of two AC units getting hit with lightening at the same time. Long long story but the net is that I had over 25 visits from other AC companies before I called Rick. He came quickly, he solved the issues and we have been working with him for over 15 years. He patched up our old units and solved every issue along the way until we had to replace one unit. We had a number of quotes and by far Rick had the best price so we purchased one (1) new unit from him so far.
Rick is a technology person, not just a hook up and trial and error/​parts replacing AC yahoo. Rick knows the science, he knows the mechanical aspects, and he knows what you need to be cost efficient on the repairs as well as on a monthly utility bill basis plus to be comfortable. When we bought the new unit, he gave me options and guided me to a PEC rebate and an Energy Star rebate. We ended up with the top unit for a lower price even than much lower units. We are totally happy with that solution!
My mother inlaw came for a visit. Another long story. The net is that she couldn’t leave and ultimately passed away in my residence. The room that she was staying in got to hot as the people and equipment load increased in the room and the summer heat in the afternoon. It was a delicate balance. Rick came at no charge and used a technology solution to make it comfortable. He anticipated that we would need to make other adjustments as the room became more loaded with heat generating equipment, with more people, and he showed me what to do. He also volunteer to come back at no charge. He handled himself in this as well as every other situation professionally.
He is an honest person. I have trusted him with my home when I haven’t been there. I haven’t always liked the news that he has had to give me but he was right about them and really looking out for my best interest. He isn’t fancy and doesn’t give you a hard sell. Listen to what he says because he is by far the best that I have ever experienced!
