Convenient? Yes. Parking? Easy. Selection? Decent. Price? Reasonable. Friendly staff? Not so much. I thought it was just me but I see others say the same.

The elder Korean man here is so vile and unpleasant I thought I was on a hidden camera show. I’ve worked in the service industry most of my 41 years so I tip way beyond my means and treat everyone with kindness and respect. That’s why I am floored when someone behaves like this man. Wow!!! The incident just occurred and I am left shaking my head in disgust and disbelief. Best of luck in the future sir. You’ll need it.

Owner and an elder man was very rude and aggressive before we even came into the store. I would give it a 0 star if I could.

Boy oh boy… Is it even possible to give less than a whole star? The elder Korean man here is absolutely rude. I never want to come back here. UGH.

I can’t decide if it’s a blessing that I can walk here or a curse! This store is huge and has a great selection. It’s not specs but it’s not small like twin liquors either. At the register they have plenty of small bottles of liquor if you want to try something you have never had but dont want to buy a whole bottle. I purchased the Angry Orchard cinnamon cider and a 6 pack of IPA! I wish they would have had a better selection of IPAs but, the abundance of other selections made up for it. They had a lot of asian selections in one cooler as well so, if your into sake then you coukd probably find what you want here. I think the pricing was fair as well! This will be a great spot for my days by the pool when I need to refill my cooler!

I live in the apartments next door to this place(Argosy) and it’s so nice to have such a cool little liquor store in easy walking distance. Dave(the guy who runs the place) is a really nice, too. You might even catch him throwing a footbal with coworkers in the parking lot on sunny days, and he even grills up some hot dogs(free for scustomers) from time to time. In addition to being very friendly, he’s very knowledgeable about all sorts of booze. Oh, and did I mention he plays cello?

Sure, it is not a huge as Spec’s, but I really don’t need all of that selection. I usually stick to a few brands. What distinguishes a liquor store for me is the staff. The guy who works there is so nice all the time. I seriously drive 10 minutes out of my way from 34th and guad.

I used to live by this place at the Arrrrr(pirate voice) gosy Apartments. Like Lauren said, the man that runs Passionate Spirits is really nice and cool. He’s down with everyone whether you live in Crestview or Mehl’s Motel. I love the name of this store and the selection is great. You can buy a giant bottle of Lindemans lambic ale for about $ 10 which is much cheaper than the HEB. It’s also nice that he puts liquor boxes outside for people to take. They were really useful for packing away glasses and stuff when I moved out of the Arrrrrr(pirate voice) gosy.
