The wonderful employees at this location helped me make a great spinach mushroom pizza with their special house blend pink pizza sauce and the herb cheese sprinkles to top off the most amazing pizza pie ever.

My go place for pizza. Love it here. They are always nice and try their best to get your pizza made ASAP. There are a few Austin locations but this one is my favorite. Not to mention it’s right next to Twin Liquor. Haha. Pizza and beer, good combo.

Easy and delicious! I’ve picked up twice now, and I’d say it’s my fav Austin pizza after Homeslice(can you blame me?) pick up and take home, bake when you’re ready, and enjoy!

Take ‘N’ Bake pizza is always nice when you really don’t feel like cooking. They have a good variety of gourmet pizzas with great toppings. The service is good and quick. Pizzas are reasonably priced and taste pretty good. Ive heard multiple people complain about having to bake the pizza yourself. Its laziness. Follow the directions they provide, sit back and its ready in no time. I recommend this place to people I know cook everyday and want a little break.

It’s pretty good stuff. My wife and I think it is better than most of the delivery pizza in the area. We have tried more than a few of their offerings and have been pleased with each.

I’m a pizza snob. I haven’t found really great pizza in Austin. Sad. Papa Murphy’s? It’s a chain. You take it home & bake it yourself. Is it great? Nope. Is it terrible? Nope. What’s sad is that it’s better than many of the local pizza places in town. Yup — that’s just sad. Join their text club to get coupons & other special offers. $ 4 off large pizza(text offer) makes this place better than just meh. Cheap pizza that isn’t horrible. Nice.

I walked in not knowing what to expect, but I heard good things. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They suggested I try the chicken bacon ranch pizza. I was skeptical about the creamy garlic sauce, rather than traditional tomato based sauce but damn did they deliver. It was simply delicious. I am definitely going back next time I’m craving pizza and I highly recommend Papa Murphy’s!

This location is great. I’ve been a handful of times, and i’m consistently surprised by how quick the pizza-making is. The employees are great, too. I ordered a pizza there one night, and they asked if they could give me the exact same pizza, but with canadian bacon on top, since they had already made it. For no extra cost. I immediately said«YESDUH» and the guy at the counter told me how sorry they were about having to give us extra canadian bacon(what??) and gave me a punch card with three stamps on it already. So I’m halfway to getting $ 10 off my next pizza!

I CANNOT say enough GOOD things about this place! Their pan pizza is out of this world. The crust is thick and fluffy and bottom is perfectly buttered and crisp. The ingredients are LOADED on heavy and are always fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the cinnamon pizza wheel for dessert. You will go into the best food coma of your life. :)

I am not a snob when it comes to pizza but I am a snob when it comes to food prep. I never understand the purpose of wearing gloves if you never change them and touch everything plus your dish. It’s disgusting. Every time I go to this place they already have their gloves on excepting peoples money then going right back to placing their dirty gloved hands in the cheese to put on your pizza. It’s repulsive. I had to speak up one time because an employed did that to me, took my money then started making my pizza without a care in the world. The other employee knew what I was getting at and agreed that is was disgusting to handle money then get back to making pizza. If I could give this place half a star for receptiveness or lack there of I would.

Was once a fan when they had the 5 dollar pepperoni pizza they put so much pepperoni that you couldn’t see the cheese underneath and the sprinkled more cheese on top of the pepperoni. The crust was perfect. Today i went in and asked for the 5.00 pepperoni and it was as skimpy as it could get, i counted 10 peices of pepperoni that looked lost on the pizza, hardly any cheese at all. It was all a scam to lure customers in then cut back on the quality. You lost me as a customer Papa Murphy.

After hearing good things about Papa Murphy’s the boyfriend and I have been twice now. They create the pizza right in front of you and when it’s done they wrap it and put cooking instructions on it as well. We both love the«deLITE» crust. It is delicious, just be careful with how many toppings you put on it. I love the white pizza and that is what I will personally stick to when we go again. We have also tried the Five Meats Stuffed and it was huge! I couldn’t believe how big it was. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The stuffed pizza along though is totally worth it with how large it is! I do believe the pizza is a tad pricey, however, you can get coupons and what not.

Had no idea what to expect. I had heard of Papa Murphy’s and seen this as I did other errands in the shopping center, but had never been. My parents recently tried Papa Murphy’s in Florida and raved about it, so we decided to pick up a pizza for a lunch at home while they were in town. The store is clean and welcoming. The staff is professional and quick to make your order. You get the pizza with the ingredients you selected in minutes, complete with a baking tray and instructions for you to finish off the pie when you get home. Get home and you can put it in the oven and it’s ready in 10 — 15 minutes. You can also refrigerate it for a couple of days if you are picking it up in advance. It had an almost homemade taste to it — fresh and plentiful ingredients. I certainly would consider this place for future pizza needs if I wanted to have pizza at home, but didn’t want to make it from scratch… beats a frozen pizza any day of the week.

Tuesdays has some great cheap but large pizza specials. If you text Papa Muphy right as you get in, you get a free yummy cookie dough. I’m on a diet so had to give the pound o dough to the poor people off all the corner streets begging for change. A drive dough-chucking.

Pizza snob here. Like others I mistook the drive thru window for a drive thru window. There was nobody there at the time and I was told at the window that I could not pick up a pizza there, that I had to order it over the phone first. I said how about I just order it right here and save us some phone bills, and was told no. Drove off laughing at this policy. Wound up giving it a second shot out of sheer hunger. Bought a couple of large pepperoni pizzas, cooked exactly as directions indicated in a nice gas oven, and the crust came out like shoe leather. The toppings were decent, but geez, that crust was just awful with a stale bread-like consistency. Apparently this happens when the dough is not prepared correctly. Given the fact that we are dealing with a crew of 17 year olds who just want a paycheck, getting something done right would be the exception. Don’t do it. You can get a much better pizza from Sarpino’s or Yahgi’s.

The day has come. I need food, I need it quickly and I need to be able to prepare it fast. I’m alone for the night so I can have whatever I want. Hello Papa Murphys. Custom ordered w/my fave toppings and not too pricey. $ 15 for a family size. Yes it’s only me but I’ll have leftovers for breakfast and lunch the following day. The crust is pretty good. The tomato sauce is alright but the toppings, cheese and convenience sold it. Tasty.

Cheap prices, good quality, friendly service. If you have a big family or can put away some pizza… delivery is expensive and store bought frozen pizza doesn’t cut it. Papa Murphy’s is a great in between and tastes better than most delivery places. You get to watch your pizza being made and pick your toppings.

I was a frequent customer of Papa Murphys in Oregon and when I moved to Austin I thought I knew what quality pizza and service I was going to get. Unfortunately the servers /preparers were scatter brained and struggled to put ’ light pepperoni’ on my pizza. At the end I always ask for the seasonings. This location had the audacity to attempt to charge me extra to shake a little seasoning on my pizza claiming they are selling containers of it in their store. This was after I even asked for half pepperoni… In Oregon they were never this cheap with their customers. The pizza quality is lacking compared to other locations as well. I doubt I will return and that’s unfortunate.

We have bought from this location and number of times and find their pizza’s are best chain pizza I have tried. They are much better than chains like Gatti’s, Pizza Hut, etc. They have also won a top rating for chain pizzas from Zagats. I find their prices are reasonable, especially when you use a coupon that are regularly in the mail or can be printed from their website. They have a variety of standard toppings as well as more gourmet toppings. They have standard crusts, stuffed pizzas, and thin crust. The pizzas are made fresh to order and you can customize it how you like. Only thing I wish they would offer a whole wheat crust option.

If you’re at all like me, you know there are way too many places in Austin to get awesome food that are locally owned and operated and completely unassociated with chains, so you refuse to eat at chains at all in the city. Chances are, though, that you’re not at all like me in that regard and you enjoy the convenience and consistency of chains. If so, this review is for you. I can’t vouch for this location of Papa Murphy’s since I haven’t eaten at this one particularly. If it’s anything like the other locations I’ve been to, though, that doesn’t make a difference. Papa Murphy’s is unlike any other pizza chain I know of — rather than cook you up a pizza, they just make the dough, sauce, and assemble your pizza for you, then give it to you to bring home and stick in the oven. It’s a weird concept at first, but it really actually works. See, most pizza chains like Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, and Dominoes all use pretty boring gas ovens that don’t introduce any sort of special flavor(unlike coal fired or wood burning ovens), so you aren’t really gaining anything flavor-wise from having them cook your pizza. You do, however, lose the opportunity of eating your pizza at home 10 miles away from the pizza place fresh out of the oven. You also have to pay more money so they can maintain their expensive ovens, pay the extra employees, cover the cost of boxes, and keep up with their energy bills. Since Papa Murphy’s doesn’t have to deal with the extra costs of cooking your food, you pay less for a pizza and you get higher quality ingredients. You’re not going to get local organic cheese or anything, but it won’t be the ridiculous crap that those other places feed you either. Of course, it all boils down to taste, price, and convenience. I don’t know that I’ve ever had pizza similar to Pap Murphy’s. It’s a pretty distinct flavor… more fresh and cheesy. It has a bit of home-made flavor to it I suppose. I’ve never found anybody that said they didn’t like it. The convenience factor of Papa Murphy’s take-and-bake is on a teeter totter, though. If you are planning on taking something home a good distance away or you want to pickup your pizza while you’re out running errands and cook it later that evening, take-and-bake reigns supreme to getting something cooked for you. On the other hand, though, if you won’t have access to an oven or you want to feed your hunger ASAP, having to wait 10 – 15 minutes while your cheese melts can be a real drag. So if you’re looking for something along the lines of a regular pizza chain and up for being able to say you did the cooking at home, give Papa Murphy’s a try — you might have a new default-pizza-joint.
