Papa John’s Pizza

The customer service at this location is appalling. A driver knocked on the door to my apartment, handing me three small sodas and a receipt to sign. I went back in the apartment, and found out that no one here had ordered pizza. I returned to the door to let him know he had the wrong apartment, at which time the delivery driver actually had the audacity to get angry with me. He demanded to know why I had allowed him to «unload» (the 3 sodas) if no one had ordered pizza. Papa John’s made a mistake. Instead of apologizing for the disturbance, I was aggressively berated and disrespected by a stranger in my home. I will never order from this location again.

First of all, this isn’t even where Papa John’s is located. It’s actually by H-​E-​B near Anderson Mill Road.

When I called to ask for directions, the emo girl on the phone could not have been more unapologetic. A very it’s not my job attitude on passing along the tip above.

When I finally got back after having to turn around, I walked in to see at least eight employees behind the counter. Granted, this included delivery folks, but enough that I should’ve been served right away. There was no line. I could see my pizza getting cold on the rack.
The girl I spoke to (the only one in the room) managed to glance my way. Continue talking to her co-​workers. Slowly, lazily brush flour off of the counter. Mosey over to a computer near me to check god-​knows-​what-​was-​so-​important-​on-​that-​1986-​model-​computer, and finally side step, to begrudgingly ask if she could help me.

After being frustrated by the whole experience, I got my pizza home.

What happen to you PJ’s? You used to be top of the bottom in the mediocre chain-​store pizza race. Dominoes is way better!

I ordered a pizza one day and it was a little late. I didn’t mind though because the delivery guys are always very nice. The next day I got a call from the manager. He said that usually the pizzas don’t take that long to deliver and that he would give me a free pizza the next time I ordered. Very nice and great customer service! I will definitely keep ordering from this location.
