Mike did a beautiful job printing our books. I needed to create conference program books in full color on gloss paper. Mike was very easy to work with– very responsive, helpful, flexible and was able to pull of a pretty big job with short turn around (over a holiday weekend). I just got all my «stuff» here for setting up my new business. I got lovely professional letterhead on recycled paper, envelopes and beautiful business cards and I love them.
This is a great «ma and pa» establishment, except that «ma and pa» are quite young and determined to make a go of a pretty old-​fashioned business in a refreshing way. When you walk in, there is an old printing press in the corner which makes you think one of their parents must have been a printer. These are really nice people who will take good care of you.
They personally helped me pick paper and fonts. Then they set it up and sent me mock-​ups for approval before they printed it up, so I could change my mind a couple of times before finalizing it. All this only took a couple of days until the whole thing was ready for pick-​up.
It all turned out lovely.
This was 100 times better than my experience getting business cards at office depot. I know its tempting to just fill out the Office Depot forms. However, you won’t get personal service, your lay-​out will be extremely limited, unless you spend a lot, mine took about 2 weeks and then they never called me when they were in and I had to just keep going in and checking. The final product was beyond crappy and I ended up not using any of these cards.
Your cards and letterhead are part of your first impression so I think you should really make them count. Oak Hill Printing is an awesome local company.
