The fries were decent. The burger was exceedingly greasy. I’m writing this review waiting for my turn in the bathroom, doubled in pain. Moo Moos is not my(or my family’s) friend.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised with my Prom Queen burger, although there was just a little too much mayo for my taste(it was oozing out the sides) but don’t get me wrong – if I liked extra mayo, this would be the mayo I wanted extras of. Also, there seemed a little too much bun for the thin little patty, but man it was delicious none-the-less. The woman serving my boyfriend and I was so sweet and helpful and actually recommended the Prom Queen when we had no idea what we wanted. She also informed us that their buns were purchased locally, their patties were hand-packed and cooked only when you order, they made their own chipotle mayo, AND hand cut their fries. SUPER service. She brought the burger out to the table where we were sitting, and then the OWNER of the trailer came out and chatted with us for a while, made sure we were happy with the food, etc. I’ll likely be back if I’m in the area.

Moo Moo’s has moved to Barton Springs across from Peter Pan Mini-Golf, seems to have a new trailer and maybe new management, but the burger is the same. Kinda tough, kinda gross. The fries were better this time, but I won’t be going back.

Okay. The burgers are good, but I am frustrated with the service. Twice on consecutive Saturdays I have stopped by to grab a bite in the afternoon and the place has been closed. Another time I stopped by and the could not produce milkshakes that they advertise – and when I stopped in for lunch at 12:30p this Thursday their credit card machine had«not been turned on» so they could only take cash. They food is good when you find them open or when they have the ability to make it.

I pretty much drive by this cute little trailer every morning on my way to work and always think to myself«I really wanna try this place it’s so cute!» — So last night was my night! My boyfriend and I stopped in after work. I ordered the Prom Queen — He got the All American. The guys working there were super friendly and very helpful — seeing how it was our first time. They let us know all about how the menu works, ect. My burger was VERY tasty, bacon was crispy and avocado was the perfect add on! The fries were really amazing as well! The only bummer was after we ate, we got an itch to try a milkshake and they were out! — JUST ran out … the family of 6 before us ate all the ice cream! Better luck next time … moo moo’s = yum yum!

The JV mini burgers are great, and cooked perfectly. Tasty fries as well. The guys were polite, and even offered to bring the order to my car when the rain picked up. Big portion sizes– you could split a combo. Best mini burger i’ve had in Austin.
Soo good! I love the flavor of their burgers! If i could have given them 4.5 stars, that’s what I’d rate them! the only downside is they are a little pricey. But it’s worth it every time! Love the Sophomore and new favorite is the Prom Queen-fresh avacado and all! Fresh buns delivered daily. Not greasy and the flavor of the burgers is awesome! The Fries are wonderful too! Can’t go wrong!

I’m definitely a fan of all things mini burger so this stand hit the jackpot. I stopped in with my business partners for a quick bit Tuesday night and we were pleasantly surprised. The burger combo gives you 2 mini’s and fries(which are hand cut and uniquely seasoned and absolutely delicious) and a bev. The burgers are fresh and juicy with great seasoning, and the buns… heaven. I will be back in the future. I do wish that the Chef would put a little more creativity into the 2 star combo… It was supposed to be chef’s choice and we got basic bacon cheese burgers… A little originality would’ve gotten the extra stars… But Mark and Robert have definitely given me something to write about, and finally a good, decent priced burger fix on the south side of town! Support ur local business!

delicious! went there with the carnivorous boyfriend a couple of days after they opened. the burgers are delicious… juicy, but not too greasy and the buns are potato bread– so good! my boyfriend got the biggest mini burger combo that came with 3 patties… a full pound of meat!(yes, he finished it). the owner also chatted with us and was a really cool guy who wants to get moo moo’s really involved on the local scene.

Went back today and was so disappointed. I ordered a Prom Queen combo but they had run out of chipotle mayo so I asked them to just throw on some ketchup and mayo and it would be fine. My burger came with no ketchup but was so greasy that I could only eat one and the meat was flavorless and overcooked. The fries were just as greasy but as a bonus they were undercooked. I really hope it was a one off because I did enjoy my food last time and my belly full of grease is making me one sad aussie.

I also had driven by several times, and been disappointed, but today I was in luck! I ordered the two cheeseburgers, added grilled onions, they suggested the fries too(which I usually try to avoid) along with my vanilla shake, and I wasn’t disappointed! My two burgers were more than filling, in fact I decided to stop after the first one, and have the second wrapped up. These are larger than sliders, in fact I think you could easily share your order with another friend and not be left hungry. The fries are handcut, with kosher salt and fresh ground pepper, and they were totally delicious. Don’t have veggie burgers yet, but the two guys said since they prep all their own food(except the buns; made by 78704 neighbors at Moonlight Bakery) they need to come up with a veggie recipe.
