Someone from Mobile Austin Notary returned my call and mumbled the name of the business so badly that I almost couldn’t understand who was calling. He didn’t bother to give his name, which is extremely unprofessional. I live in Oak Hill (the heart of the city) and need an affidavit notarized. The caller quoted me a price of $ 60. I understand that we should pay a little more for the convenience of a mobile service, but $ 60 is not a fair price. I told the caller no thank you. He then ended the call just a little too abruptly.

Went to my bank to notarize a Will and they said they couldn’t do it. Bank of America totally sucks! Went online and had this company come to my work to notarize my Last Will & Testament, they told me I would need two witnesses present and they could be co-​workers, friends or family. We knocked out the Will in like 15 minutes over my lunch hour. Awesome business concept, so convenient for busy people like myself.

I needed a document notarized on a Sunday morning. In the state of Texas, this is pretty much impossible to do. I found Mobile Austin Notary online, saw that they do round-​the-​clock on-​demand services, and called them. Someone was at my house in approx 30 minutes, he was friendly and professional, and that was that. The price is a bit steep compared to typically notary service, but if you consider the cost of gas and travel time, plus the convenience of fast and flexible service, it was totally worth it. I’ll absolutely call them again if needed in the future.

I have to mention that no matter how bad the service, I never take the time to actually write a review, so this one will be a first.
I called and spoke with Ben after finding Austin Mobile Notary through Google. He was friendly and personable. He agreed to meet me promptly as it was an emergency situation, and I was overwhelmingly relieved to have found him.
I paid in full with a credit card over the phone.
Then he never showed up, and refused to answer my calls.
I called the next day and Ben answered. I explained the desperate situation he’d put me in, and that I would check my credit card activity and if the charge was there, I would call the police for theft of services. He hung up on me.
I’m bummed to have to deal with filing a report, etc. but I also can’t responsibly allow him to so easy dupe someone else in my position.
So disappointing.
