Missy Espelien

I’ve previously reviewed Missy under Lush Life SalGo. Seriously. Missy gave me an incredible cut and color, and two weeks later I’m still getting people stopping in their tracks to tell me how great it looks.
The cut is very short, with three subtle highlights that resolved some issues with a previous color. I’ve never had my hair this short, so there was a lot of trust in her scissors, and It was totally worth it.
I’ve been looking for a new stylist — and a very drastic change — for a while now. Missy is not only very talented with both cut and color, she’s very thorough in getting to know about what you’re looking for and what you’ll need to do to maintain it. She’s sensitive to how your particular hair will respond to a cut, and when your hair is neither very straight or very curly, that’s invaluable.
We did have a little miscommunication, but that got resolved (I highly recommend having pictures that show all angles of what you’re looking for, if you’re going for a major change).
I felt transformed when I left, and just today another person stopped by my office to tell me how great they thought my hair looked. And I’m still in love with the cut. I can’t recommend Missy strongly enough.
