Melyssa’s Magic Touch

Melyssa is fantastic. She listens to your needs, and responds with a fabulous massage. My husband bought me three on a Groupon. She was easy to schedule with and totally punctual. Truly, the best three massages that I have ever had. Awesome massage.

I had an automobile accident about a year ago and just finished my course of physical therapy. I had a recurrence of pain in my left shoulder/​shoulder blade area that persisted for more than a day and did not respond well to ibuprofen. I was in so much pain even though it was Saturday, I thought I would see if a massage would help. Melyssa called me back promptly and was able to schedule my massage two hours later.
Melyssa took the time to interview me to determine my physical condition, the nature and location of the pain and the areas for her to concentrate on. I chose my neck and shoulders and lower back. She told me what to expect and about her technique. What followed was an amazingly relaxing experience. Even though there were a few moments of mild to moderate pain while she was working on my shoulders and neck, the pain subsided quickly and the ongoing pain that brought me there in the first place was gone! That was a week ago and it still has not returned. I am at a loss to figure out a good excuse to go back and get another massage!
She is very competent, professional and I recommend her without reservation.

Melyssa was great. She listened to my needs and addressed all areas I requested. She is unlike your standard massage therapist who tends to do their own routine regardless of what you request. The only reason I give her 4 instead of 5 stars is it is very difficult to schedule with her. She is a 1 woman business and so you have to leave a message or text and wait for her to call back.

I purchased a groupon now that was good for today only. Called, left a voicemail, and emailed early this morning to set up an appointment and NEVER heard back. Even a simple «So sorry, but I can’t fit you in today,» would have allowed me to make an appointment somewhere else, but instead I was left hanging. Extremely unprofessional and rude.
