The place has been closed for months with a tiny sign out front they’ve had an issue with a leak. Hope whatever the issue is gets resolved soon. Someone better could be making use of this space.

Y’all… Y’all… This place was good. I loved it. Ordered the lettuce wraps, beef fried rice, shrimp fried rolls, won ton soup and sweet and sour soup. All for me, none for you. :) Actually shared it with a couple of people. And I’m glad I did. The portions are obscene… And I’m so glad they are because we scarfed the heck put of it. We don’t smoke out either… I have nothing bad to say about this place. The ambiance, décor and our sweet waitress Tiffany… Everything was a perfect recipe for a kick ass night of good friends, great food and happy bodies. I’m posting pics of the yums we got. I’ll let the pics speak for food. :) Check this place out.

You ever have such a hard time deciding where to go for dinner? We were faced with this dilemma and my husband suggested here(as opposed to in-and-out) We had some good and some bad. First, there was not a single customer there. This is usually a red flag for me. We were greeted warmly though and sat down. We started with some vegetable egg rolls, a cream cheese chicken one and some soup. They got a little too over creative here. The vegetable egg roll had mushrooms in this(which meant me and my kiddo would not eat) My hubby tried it but didn’t like.(the waitress asked about why we didn’t eat it and comped it) The cream cheese one was good but so hot it burned the skin on the roof of my mouth. Like for real. Blister and all for 3 days. Not good. We did not see any chicken in this(maybe it was liquefied and put in the cream cheese?) Anyways, the main course came out and was pretty good. We got Sesame and Tso’s and honestly really couldn’t tell much difference in the two. But it was good anyways. The rice was good as well. All in all we won’t be back. Not because it’s awful but because Mama Fu’s is better. And cheaper.

The mission, should you chose to accept it… Find a good Chinese joint that delivers to your new home. Mission accepted and completed with Lotus Garden! We were hungry, wanted Chinese badly(darn that Sweet n’ Sour Pork addiction!), and definitely did NOT want to leave the house. So to Unilocal we went and found Lotus Garden. Thanks again Unilocal for helping making our tummies happy! Here’s why we have our new Chinese delivery joint: 1. You can order online at GrubHub! Who wants to call in an order? It’s the 21st century. You can embrace your hermit desires and order online! 2. Even during a peak delivery time(Saturday at 6:30pm), we got our food delivered to our door in 25 minutes. It was piping hot and delicious. 3. Huge portions at very reasonable prices. The entrees were all about $ 10 and were huge! We(2 people) ordered Seasame Chicken and Sweet n’ Sour Pork for our entrees. We each had a big serving of each entrée and still had leftovers for 2 additional servings of each entrée leftover. And yes, we are hungry and chubby people, so you know we ate a bunch and still had leftovers. 4. The Crab Puffs appetizer deserve their own line because they were super yummy. I would recommend them to everyone! 5. The funny fortune cookie fortunes were a nice touch. Everyone loves their fortune cookie at the end of a meal. When the fortune is funny, it is such a great way to end a meal. If you too are lazy and craving Chinese, check out Lotus Garden. I promise, it’s really good!
