Awesome Chinese food! The best Kung pao chicken! Great egg rolls. Also they do accommodate request. I always ask for light oil and they do it.

I found this place accidentally and haven’t found a better place in the 3 years I’ve been in Austin. I drive from 130&45, East Pflugerville, to get their Vietnamese coffee and General Tso’s Chicken. I’ve have had other appetizers and my wife has had their seafood dishes and we are always happy with their food quality, consistency, and taste. This is the only Chinese restaurant across Austin, Round Rock, and Pflugerville whose food we really love.

I have been eating at little China for years and love the food and friendly service. My favorite dish is the general Tso tofu, fresh broccoli and friend tofu in a deliciously spicy brown sauce– very affordable and generously portioned :)

This is the place that seems convenient, then you immediately regret your decision. The food was sad, literally. I got phở, the basil looked well ripe and mushy, I got 7 mung beans and one jalapeño slice, Three thin slices of beef, I kinda cried for its inherent depression, It looked more like what they feed my grandma in the old folks home. It smelled of gold bond and desperation. Not to mention, last time I got the pad thai and ordered extra chicken. they double charged me and forgot the chicken. Also, it tasted like straight sugar noodles.

Typical inexpensive Chinese food. Very poor quality meat, bland and old interior. They charge 10 cents per Chinese fortune cookie lol. If you want the McDonalds of Chinese food, this is the place.

I really liked everything. Nice and quiet waterfalls when you walk in. I ordered cheese wontons, hit and sour soup and grilled shrimp vermicelli. The wontons were crispy. The soup looked authentic and tasted vpvery good level of spicy. My noodle dish had a good amount of shrimp as well grilled nice. I would go back again soon.

We ordered our meal, waited for 45 minutes and got home with an incomplete meal. We found hair in our meal, called the restaurant and were promised a credit. We decided to try again, against my better judgment and spoke to Vicki. She was disrespectful and rude. This is the most horrible experience and I would rather eat from the convenience store than give them business.

Beef with broccoli was so fresh and tasteful. Egg roll was crispy and not soggy. This was my 1st time grabbing takeout and experience here. The lady who took my order was so kind as well. Will definitely come back if in the area.

Unilocal led us here and we didn’t mind a bit, great food at very reasonable prices to go along with friendly service… the trifecta. We shared a couple lunch specials, General Tso’s chicken and the hot and spicy chicken, both came with fried rice, a very tasty egg roll, and a cup of soup… we both enjoyed some wonton soup. They serve a smaller portion on the lunch menu, but it costs less than 6 bucks a meal which is a win win for us, we need to eat less anyway… definitely return in the near future.

I have eaten here quite a few times, delivery mostly. Every time the food is hot, delicious, and the customer service is above and beyond! My 2 year old even loves the food. Nicely priced to where I don’t feel bad for eating out. My family and I will be customers for life. Keep up the awesome work guys.

Just got my food delivered to me 45 minutes ago and it sucked. The shrimp rolls were burnt to a crisp, the«fried rice» was basically steamed brown rice and the egg roll was cold on the ends.

I always say« Unilocal never lies» as in, the overall stars for a place, i always agree with. But i am perplexed how this place has 4 stars? Its definitely average(or below) food. I got the pad thai which was made with stringy noodles and had very little chicken & flavor. My husband got the General Tso’s Shrimp and said it was just ok. They do have take-out/delivery, which is nice, but skip this place if you want a unique, delicious dining experience.

I got delivery twice from this place. The first time was a good experience. We got a lot of Kung pao chicken and orange chicken. The second time however, we ordered sesame chicken, and the box was only 1⁄3 full. It was very disappointing.

I really liked this place. The owners were very helpful and friendly. the egg drop soup was good and the chop suey was wonderful. I liked the hot tea as well. I don’t normally like egg rolls but this was the only place in Austin, I like their egg rolls. I would give 5 stars but was disappointed they don’t have soup noodles. It is hidden in shopping center. There are places in New England they do wonton and egg drop soup together. I will be back for the specials, phở and steamed dumplings and spring rolls. Glad I found a new good place to go!!! plus I want to try wonton soup, as well! four and half stars!

Recently moved to Austin and was looking for a small Chinese restaurant to get my fix– found Little China and decided to check it out. It was a rainy evening and the craving was strong so we made the trek out with my roommates. We arrived RIGHT at dinner time, so it was fairly empty when we arrived. There was a TV on but it was quiet so it didn’t interfere with the environment. The food was well cooked and arrived super fast! My roommate ordered the hot and sour soup, which she loved. I had the orange chicken, which was super yummy. It was a perfect balance of crunchy and moist + the sauce was on point. During our visit, a lot of people came to pick up orders they’d phoned in, which was cool and something I’ll look into doing in the future. The price was really good for everything and overall I enjoyed my experience. I’m curious about the phở, so I may order that next time. We shall see.

I’m not sure why this place has gotten so much recent hate. I wonder if some of the haters are aware of what is going on in the world around them. Then again, I’ve been eating at Little China once a week for over 8 years now. I always get the Kung Pao Chicken around dinner time. When I come in I am greeted and quickly seated. Since I always order the same thing as a regular customer, they know what I have in mind to eat the second I come in. I always get the food well cooked, and quickly. I never had an issue with the portion size. For me the portion size has been pretty much the same over the past 8 years or I haven’t noticed it significantly being reduced. The price for the meal was cheaper several years ago, but was to be expected. Everything was cheaper in the past and you got more for your money in the past, no matter where you chose to spend your dollars. This isn’t rocket science, it’s inflation and basic economics. The meals were about 50 cents less several years earlier, the meal was right around $ 6.98 before a tip and around $ 6.50 before that. I have come here so much, that I even remember that! LOL! Even at $ 7.53 before a tip, with the price increase, it is still more than reasonable for the quantity of food that you get. These are hard working people that work 7 days a week day in and day out for your business, spare a national holiday that might come up now and then. Newsflash for all the folks complaining: people who run businesses have to make difficult«business decisions» at times. If you’ve never run a business, you might have a hard time understanding this and it is easier to complain. If you keep in mind the following concept, it is easier to understand: The only guarantee and absolute in life as we move forward, is higher prices for everything you need to live, and higher levels of taxes.(The cheap gas right now is a temporary blessing. Can’t stay that way forever.) That’s the way it has been since the key date of 1913, when prices which were declining yearly in America for over 80 years, reversed its trend. Please Unilocal with purpose. It is the choices we make in the voting box and a lack of understanding of basic economics that causes small businesses to have to deal with the ever larger amount of excessive challenges they face. If you haven’t already noticed, we still have not fully recovered from the 2008 recession, and we are due for another one soon! This is the modern American fascist business cycle. For the record, I will still be coming to this place even if the cost of the meal is raised to $ 8, $ 9, $ 10 or more from the $ 7.53 it is at now. Why? Because I know it isn’t the business owners fault that they have to raise prices, and I’m not some left wing /right wing idiot.
