Kumon Math and Reading Center of Austin – Four Points

Nice location. Really makes a difference in helping my kids with math. If you aren’t familiar with Kumon: this is daily work for your kids that you bring home and grade and correct. The kids go in once or twice a week and do more worksheets and are tested at the end of each level. We go twice a week. I believe they are open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, but (at least for the math. they also have reading, too) your child needs to placed first with a test. They don’t always like the daily work on top of school, but it is like learning an instrument. A little bit of daily work makes a huge difference in the long term. It’s helped one child who is okay with math, but perhaps not her strong point. It’s also helped my other child who seems to have an easier time with math and she is getting ahead.
