The customer service is pretty solid(on the managers’ part)! I had a charm engraved here and when I wasn’t satisfied with the way it came out(letters were not 100% aligned), they re– engraved it. When I still wasn’t completely satisfied with the 2nd one, the woman at the desk who was helping me was obviously getting annoyed and asked me «so which one are you taking home?»(okay lady), but one of the managers jumped in and was completely understanding and kind and had it re-engraved again :) I left that day feeling like it was going to get taken care of BC of her. I’m satisfied with my charm now but Ive got to give them props for handling the situation with professionalism.

I came in on Christmas Eve Eve to pick up a gift for my sister and mom. It was pretty cute to see so many men picking out gifts for their significant others. They have a pretty efficient system for a busy day – you fill out a sheet with your name and item numbers and a sales person pulls everything so you can see it. The person I was working with wasn’t unpleasant and the prices were about what I thought they would be. Nice location too.

I had a great experience here. My sales associate, Michelle, greeted me and assisted me with my search for a new chain, a charm and what turned out to be a ring. She helped me to find the correct sizes, answered my questions about cleaning my pieces and explained that I could bring my items back for free cleanings. I appreciated her help and patience. I will definitely return here in the future.

My review is about my experience with the in-store wait time AND ordering online. I attempted to purchase a charm bracelet that my mother requested from this location on a Thursday at 3pm. An employee prompted me to fill out a yellow card. I knew what I wanted already, gave her the card and she promptly walked over to a box against the wall and put my card in it. She didn’t explain what their process was. There were two cashiers and three other customers in the store. I waited for 30 minutes without being helped and left. The next day, Friday, I got online and ordered the products, purchased them and indicated that I wanted to pick them up from this store. The next day, Saturday, I was running errands and called the store to see if the order was ready to pick up. The lady said that I would get an email when the order was complete and I would have to PRINT a copy of the email and bring it in with my PHOTOID before they could give me the merchandise that I paid for. This is the worst customer service I have experienced in quite a while. For a subpar jewelry store to behave in this manner and to have policies such as these in place is ridiculous. It’s very ANTI-CUSTOMER and not appreciated. This whole«take a number and we won’t let you have what you paid for until you prove that it’s you» tactic is lame. I loathe this store now.

Love their charms and so does my girlfriend. They have reasonable prices and great customer service. Every time I come in I ask that the charm be soldered onto her bracelet that day. Now they have a one day turn around time for that, but are always willing to accommodate me so I don’t have to drive all the way back over there the next day. And that is why I keep coming back

I see some of the people on here complaining about the wait times. I actually prefer this store due to slower wait times than many other stores. If you’ve ever been to the Corpus Christi store, which is probably the only one in a 200 mile radius, you’ll understand what a wait time is. The day after Christmas is a line out the door just to have charms put on, a special line for charm pick up, etc. etc. The Anderson Lane store is friendly, and yes, sometimes too chatty. But, their level of service as I’ve sat there trying to find the perfect pair of earrings for myself(what looks best on my earlobes…” has been paramount. I can see, though, if you know exactly what you want to get and don’t need to fuss over it at the counter, how it can be a bit annoying. The jewelry is excellent, though.

Good personal service. Had to return a Christmas gift that I bought at the Anderson Lane store. Received excellent service by manager.

James Avery makes the absolute best quality jewelry, and always have the absolute friendliest staff to help you out. I used to go to this location a lot, but not so much anymore since my office relocated further away. That being said, I’ve never had a bad customer experience at *any* of the James Avery locations.

I am thrilled to see someone who HATES to shop here as much as I do. Don’t get me wrong, I love their jewelry, but I am talking about buying from THIS particular store. I went in a week ago and after 35 minutes of waiting, I finally got my purchase. Mind you this was a Wednesday. I went on a Thursday and sat there for 40 minutes to return a necklace that I spent 35 minutes waiting for the first time. There were 4 people in front of me and the customer service ladies wanted to befriend everyone and I had to listen to more people yap on with sales ladies that obviously weren’t interested in just getting people in and out. I used to shop here like it was my job, and I NEVER waited, but unless you are DESPERATE, might I suggest online, or roll down to the Domain and shop Tiffany’s. I was in and out of there in 6 minutes, purchase in hands.

I was delighted to find just the right Mothers’ Day present for Mom here, a small knotted heart pendant on a simple chain with a built-in extension for different looks. I like the look, the Texas connection and the quality. Shipping and gift boxing was fast and easy, it arrived a couple of days early and Mom was delighted. So was I.

Do they only hire retired school teachers here? Is there a rule that only two salespeople are to work the counter at a time? Did Mr Avery ransack my great-grandmother’s house for furniture? Is it possible to squeeze one more Jesus fish bracelet into that display case?
