Illuminate Photography

Meh, I found her stand-​offish and unresponsive. I sent her several… okay, two… messages to which I never received a reply.

Lisa is awesome! I had the pleasure of filming a wedding while she photographed it and she did an awesome job.
She was very laid back and easy to get along with. Some weddings I feel like the photographer is trying to compete with me for shots but I never felt that way with Lisa. She communicates well and is an incredibly helpful person overall.
If you’re a bride getting married in the Austin area that is looking for a photographer that you’ll get along with well and is also capable of taking good photos you should definitely give her a call.

I’ve known Lisa for several years — as a friend, a fellow event vendor, and a service provider.
Lisa did senior photos for my younger son, choosing urban areas that appealed to him and made for great photographs that really captured his essence.
I hired Lisa for professional head shots when I started my business. I have gotten more compliments than I can count on them! I had no idea I could look that great.
I’ve also worked with Lisa at multiple events that I organized and she photographed. She does a great job of capturing the action and the spirit of the guests without being obtrusive (often guests didn’t know they were being photographed). She takes a lot of photos and optimizes them as needed. Invariably there are more great shots to choose from than you can ever use.
Would I use Lisa again myself? Unquestionably. Would I recommend her to clients? Of course — and I do so frequently. She has a great eye for people and captures moments beautifully.

An awesome experience. Watching Lisa and Dave during the wedding of our friends was great. They snapped great photos that showed people in natural situations, interacting and enjoying. They did it without interrupting or getting in the way.
