I love this store. The selection of antiques is amazing. Anything from home décor, knick knacks, accessories, clothing and much more. The store is extremely organized which makes it super easy to look for certain items. You can find exactly what your looking for easily. I honestly wanted everything in there. It’s not cheap, but it’s not crazy expensive. It’s somewhat affordable depending on the item. The owner is super sweet. She wanted to know my name and everything about me. She tried to find the perfect pieces for me and she was really helpful. I will continue to come back to this amazing antique store.

Awesome awesome place. I came in not to buy a thing, but to get an option on some old Tiff and Co antique clocks. Deborah did all she could to help me out and was so nice and friendly the whole time. Even gave me a box to put them in. This place is a class act for customer service and Deborah the owner is such a sweet lady and willing to help as much as she can. I will be back for sure

Great vintage clothing selection and nice European antiques at decent prices. They have a good range of stuff to fit your budget accordingly. Owner is helpful. Will come here again.

I haven’t been in the antique section but I have been in their clothes section and there are some totally awesome things! Great for bridal or prom or a very fancy event! They mark sizes very well for the most part(most sizes are from 0 – 8 which is a little annoying for sizes 10+)

Such a wonderful antique shop! The owner, Debbie, and staff are so friendly and helpful. They have so many unique décor items and a great selection of vintage clothing and accessories I was pleasantly surprised to find in the back of the shop! Whether your an antique collector or looking for a few fun pieces to bring some character to your life, this shop is definitely worth strolling through.

I LOVE this shop! The ladies are so fun and very helpful. There are a lot of great finds here! And the price is reasonable too. A lot of the antiques the ladies were kind enough to show me were from England, usually early 1900’s; they are also good at keeping up with where and when their items are from, and elaborating with details. I will definitely be back! I will post some pics of some of the finds that I don’t mind other people seeing, lol :-D Ladies, you are TOTES adorbs!

We LOVE Gypsie Antiques!!! The owner is absolutely amazing. Our home has basically become a showroom for her beautiful things. We are very fortunate to have a place like this in Austin.

This is by far my favorite vintage/antique store in Austin. All of the vintage clothing is amazing and very well priced.

Gypsie’s has a really neat French-chic boutique feel. There are some really interesting finds in the store, but you’re not overwhelmed when you walk in by shelf after shelf of tiny trinkets. I loved looking through the clothing area in the back. Tons of cute finds here!

LOVE this place! I have been meaning to go in for ages and finally did. Left with two amazing finds and had a great conversation with Debbie! I am looking forward to my next day off to go and see what new things she has acquired!

Gypsies Antiques is awesome. Their displays are incredible and their merchandise is superb. The only thing better is their customer service. They are intune with their customers and offer sage advice. It is our go to place every time we are in Austin. We have collected amazing treasures over the years at Gypsies!

Yes, it’s true love! Inspiring vignettes and incredible European treasures. Definitely appreciate the time and care pulling together such a great collection! Happy that Burnet Road is becoming such a hot spot for vintage/antique hunters.

Let me just say, as a life-long collector, I LOVE this store. It is filled with beautiful, sparkly and unique pieces from Europe… lots of French and English as well as other countries. This is our FAVORITE antique store in Austin, her displays are magical! Do yourself a favor and go there as fast as you can – cuz she’s got one of a kind ‘finds’ no one else in town has even thought about!

I bought an awesome vintage Polaroid camera and I was not even looking for anything specific. This place is a treasure chest because you won’t know what you’ll find in every corner. Recommendation: Do not just glance through, look thoroughly and you will definitely find something cool.

Deborah Sierra’s shop is full of fun finds. Got the love of my life a brooch and a necklace for notta lotta moolah, and she liked them enough to wear them at our wedding. May 23, 2013 edit: Not knocking off any stars, because(hopefully) this is a temporary thing, but I went today and Gypsies REEKED. Something noxious was in the air, like very stagnant water. What the hell?

Wow. I’ve been snubbed. I’ve never been made to feel so grubby and amateur without anyone saying a word to me as in this shop. If you are in the market for some serious, pricey antique stuff, I’m pretty sure this is a good place. But seeing as I’m redoing my office as absolutely dirt cheap with no regard to tasteful vs. tasteless, this was not the place for me. One employee gave me the movie star smile showing all dental work and said, «Hiiii.. . how are yoooou?» Thinking: «This person is most definitely not going to buy a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g.» Other employee *tight lipped smile*. Thinking: «I tried to ignore her when she came in but now that the other employee greeted her, I have to give her the benefit of my reserved-for-social-retards smile.» It seemed that one must dress up to even enter. I gathered all this within the 90 seconds I remained in the store. Wonderful for some people but for the White Trash and Proud of It, stay away.

Hot *DAMN*. I’ve been looking for a red leather, tufted wingback chair, with queen anne legs for almost a year. Known as ‘chesterfield’ chairs, these chairs were made in england in the middle of last century. I finally found *exactly* what I had been searching for at Gypsies. This perfect chair appeared to me as if in a vision. Also, they knocked off about 100 bucks, so I got it for an amazing price. They’ve got an truly impressive assortment of furniture, décor and jewelry, and the owner is an awesomely nice and helpful lady.

One star for the name. Add another for the gorgeous bed frame at the back of the house, the beautiful dining room tables, and the rosewood jewelry boxes and vintage 1930s diamond ring set. Although Gypsies Antiques is not as large as its down-the-road neighbor Antiques Warehouse, you’re just as likely to find something truly fantiquetastic in this impressive showroom. Owner Deborah Sierra and her staff create their displays from gems found on European and U.S. buying trips. They have a broad collection, primarily focused on home décor, furniture and some jewelry and clothing. Check out the website for pics of their featured items from Spain, Belgium, France, England, Sweden and Italy. Unfortunately, I think Gypsies would be lost on a browsing crowd of amateurs(like myself). It might be more suited for serious collectors, shoppers looking for something in particular, or at the very least, an older generation of consumers. However, even my novice eye can recognize the quality here. Even if you can’t stand antiques and have been forced to accompany a wife, friend or partner, Gypsies has stocked some of their pretty dishes with chocolate. No worries… no one leaves Gypsies unhappy. Definitely worth a visit.
