Greenbelt Moving

Unprofessional ownership. Don’t use these guys if you care about your stuff. I scheduled these guys to load a rental truck for our move and the owner seemed nice enough. When he arrived at my house for the move with his crew, he belittled my wife and loaded my truck so haphazardly that I had to secure it with a makeshift netting before driving the truck anywhere. I moved into this house with a 22′ truck that had 6′ of empty space. How my 26′ truck was full when I left, I have no idea. This was the farthest from a professional moving company that we have ever seen. My wife and I move a lot for my job and have seen many successful moves. I can’t figure out where this company went wrong. They definitely do not subscribe to the concept of the customer always being right. When asked to do something in a particular way, the answer should not be that «it will take too long». It should be «of course, we would be happy to do that for you». My wife asked these guys to wrap our furniture in pads prior to loading onto the truck. She was dismissed and told that would take too long. Meanwhile, we had a 2-​hour minimum and these guys were complete with their task in 1 hour. Apparently they did have the time, they just wanted to increase their margin and get to the next job. Shameful. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS NO MATTER HOW NICE, CONFIDENT, AND REASSURING THEY SOUND ON THE PHONE.

I recently used Greenbelt Movers. They were fantastic – packing and moving me quickly and efficiently AND for a reasonable fee. Everything was transported without any scuffs, breaks, or dents. I really appreciated their help and would hire them again in a second.

Guess what? I just moved again and, of course, scheduled Greenbelt to do the honors after my positive experience four years ago. I was thrilled to discover that the first time was no fluke. Jim was super-​responsive and flexible when scheduling via their website, the team (four of the six were the exact same crew as last time!) was professional, friendly, and kind (heck, they even asked how my dad — who was there for the last move — was doing!), and they delivered all of our beloved possessions unscathed. They arrived on-​time, seamlessly made two stops to a storage unit and our condo before delivering to our new house, were lightning fast, and even took the time to place furniture exactly where we wanted, encouraging us to give feedback until it was just right. At the end of our morning together, I told them that I never want to move again, but wish I had an excuse to work with them more often. Who knew that movers could put a smile on your face? Thanks, Greenbelt, for being consummate pros!

These guys are amazing. They moved a bunch of large and medium furniture and some boxes for us. They were nice, on time, fast, stuck to their quote, available at the last minute over Memorial Day weekend, reasonably priced, and super, super careful about our stuff and the woodwork in our new home. It was amazing watching them. One guy actually RAN down our stairs with a full filing cabinet; my husband and I together wouldn’t have been able to pick it up ourselves! They are amazing!
When we got to the new place, we told them to be careful of the woodwork. They wrapped pads around the front door and the corners of the rooms and areas they were in.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone! They are truly great at what they do!

I’ve used Greenbelt Moving twice in Austin. I’ve moved 7 times in Austin. My best moves BY FAR were the ones when I used Greenbelt.

I felt very comfortable that these guys aren’t just throwing my stuff around in the trucks or breaking things and hoping I won’t notice until they’re gone. Call them! Your move will be so much more pleasant!
