Dillon and jay are super chill. Always down to play smash bros behind the counter (as long as you’re prepared to be crushed by Jay’s duck hunt) and make some sweet custom blends. Come.

Great atmosphere and service! Cozy setting with a flexible floor layout to accommodate different party sizes. TV screens playing sports in the background. They also have BYOB but they charge $ 5 per person.

Ive been meaning to stop by this place. I’m so glad I finally did. I love the atmosphere and location. Prompt service. We’ll definitely be back!

I arrived saturday night, and didnt stay long. I thought this would be a good place to chill out and catch up with a friend. Instead, the hookah bar was more like a dance club. The djay was blasting edm music, and he was even using those obnoxious strobe lights. I would say i was very disappointed in the atmosphere. I hope you can consider finding a djay that doesnt run all your customers off.

This place is awesome! The service is top notch, and they put on the sports games everyday. Great place to come and watch the playoffs, while enjoying the hookah atmosphere. The best of both worlds.
Jay (Jared), Lon, and Dillan know their hookahs. Just ask for a recommendation and they won’t steer you wrong.

Great service with very kind staffs. The atmosphere is very calm n nice to chill. Ive got a pot of english breakfast tea and it was pretty good. They serve coffee and tea as a pot only, not by a cup. I should hit this place soon again.

A nice and stylish hookah place in North Austin.
They have Al Fakher and Starbuzz tobacco, and typically a lot of flavors (unless they run out, like the night we came in).
The hookah guy is very knowledgeable, and made sure to recommend a good flavor. His recommendation landed us a white grape with pineapple hookah — who would have guess these two flavor work together? Seemed wild, but the combination was fruity and very pleasant.
Now, the hookah’s are also in a good shape, very well maintained.
Another pleasant surprise was their tea — it took forever since they actually boil their tea in a pot, but the result was great.

Had an interesting situation happen during my last visit (³⁄₁₁). I was there by myself and had to go to the restroom, and was in there for a little bit. When I came out I unfortunately saw that my hookah and soda were gone. When they saw that I was still here after I came out of the bathroom, they were slightly shocked. I sat back down and was immediately greeted with an apology. I was told they would replace my hookah and soda free of charge. They even upgraded my hookah! A few more apologies from multiple staff members followed by the new hookah. That is what fantastic customer service looks like. The staff here rocks! Definitely recommend this place! Just a tip for customers, if you are there alone, is to let the staff know if you’ll be in the bathroom taking care of business for a little while. Haha

At first glance seemed like a nice place with a knowledgeable staff but after a couple of visits I have a difference of opinion. The staff is not accommodating– after 10 mins of smoking the hookah tasted like crap and one of the staff members said they would change it and then the other guy rolls around and says that they cannot as the «rule» is that they would serve that pack to some other customer… It’s like serving one persons crap to another… Smh
I’ve been to a few hookah lounges and usually the folks are very accommodating. Don’t recommend this place just because the staff doesn’t know how to be hospitable. The owner needs to teach them a thing or two about customer service.

I found this place out of luck, since my corporate apartment is right next to it. Awesome tasty hookah, friendly and helpful staff! This is the go to place for late night hangout.

It was my birthday weekend and I opted for a girls night with some lovely friends on a Friday. I wanted to keep it slightly low key, so hookah was perfect! I spoke to the owner (Justin?) about reserving tables and he was extremely helpful. He even gave me a half off discount on my own hookah.
Coming in, I knew I loved this place. Its dark, the seats are comfy (some a bit worn) and there’s TV playing sports, yay! I’ll take this over the hippy dippy spots full of obnoxious UT students.
The girl working the cashier was obviously new but had a bad attitude — we all could’ve done without her. Another young lady who handed us the hookahs and also checked back with fresh coals was crazy sweet and much more helpful. The flavors were delicious! We had blueberry yum yum and a mix of berry, mango & mint.
There’s $ 5 a head charge if you’re drinking your own bottle of booze. (We saw some ladies bring an ice bucket and their own ice and glasses — we’re definitely following suit next time) My girlfriends and I sat back and relaxed over delicious hookah and makeshift cocktails.
10:00 pm on the dot, and the music started blasting. WHAT IS THIS? It turned into an instant nightclub with GREAT music (unlike most clubs in the ATX). Which was not what we were expecting but we had a blast! Handsdown, this is our favorite hookah spot in the city. Easy going and relaxed until it was time to turn up.
End Note: We had plans on going downtown but opted in staying here because it was just way too much fun. Come early if you want to chill, stay later for the party. I would give it 5 stars if the little girl working the front would lose the attitude — or at least fake it to make it.

I received a message from someone that was not a fan of my 4 star rating. They felt that based off of their knowledge of the staff, the girl who I claimed had an attitude is normally sweet and I’m probably the one who has the attitude. It’s easy to make an assumption that this person is a friend of this establishment, but I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt. 5 stars = perfect experience. My experience was not perfect — therefore a star is missing and I justified my reason. If I could give them ⁴⁄₁₂ stars, I most certainly would. But we don’t live in a perfect (5 star rating) world. I’m beyond irritated that this has happened. Hopefully future Unilocalers won’t get harassed for having an honest opinion.

Robby had been exceptionally welcoming. He made sure all my needs were met. They have really good Khalil mamoon hookah. Prepared with perfection. Good place to unwind after work.

One of the if not the best hookah lounges in Austin. I always have fast and quality service. Owners are great and friendly to all. Had a relaxed time and fun crazy times as well! Wednesday movie nights are always fun as well as weekends with the DJs! Very knowledgable in their smoke. :)
Definitely will enjoy many more to come! Well worth any time spent there.

This is honestly a good hookah spot.
It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside has nice leather couches, TVs, and in the weekend they have a DJ. Perfect place to watch a football or basketball game.
As far as the hookah goes… it is good hookah. I can really taste the flavors and the smoke is always nice. I always get the Packers Special made by Robby. But even when Robby isn’t there the bowl is still good.
The service here is awesome. Never waiting too long for the coals and the owner, Justin is a cool dude who makes sure everyone is having a good time.
I recommend you try a Packers Special or Pina Colada on a pineapple bowl!

Very chill spot, a good menu filled with many flavor offerings. They charge by the hookah and not by time. This Sunday they had throwback hip/​hop from the 2000s, made for enjoyable chill evening, blowing flavored smokes.

Talked to the owner and he was chill. It was nice to have something open on Christmas… Very chill. Relaxed and enjoy my night.

I’m giving this three stars because I’ve come here for years however recently I’m very excited to say there has been a positive change in ownership and management and as a fellow business person I see great changes.
I have one issue (coming from someone who used to work in hookah lounges for years) it should NOT take 45 MINUTES to get my hookah out to me. This is absolutely ridiculous and it’s a slow night.
Fusion you’re heading the right way as a business but let’s work on the customer service and timeliness please.
I really enjoy this place and don’t want to be forced to take my and several other people’s (referred upwards of 50+ppl) business elsewhere…
My hookah is three ingredients in a simple bowl and natural coals with no I’ve hose and I’m still sitting here writing this review waiting (after having asked for a bottle opener three times).
I can’t say this is a reflection of the two girls working here because this is the third time in a row it’s taken on average an hour to get the hookah ready, like dang can I call in and pre-​order this or what?!?
But seriously I enjoy this place and I just need the turn around time cut in half in not into fourths please!
Edit #1: Scratch that I’m not going on an hour without my hookah…
Edit #2: going on an hour and 20 mins without my hookah and I asked the waitress Nikki and she said she isn’t the one who makes the hookahs and doesn’t know what’s up with the girl who does (who I’ve seen go out for a smoke break and hugging customers and texting on her phone)
Edit #3: hour and half later I have my hookah and the quality is good, just watched a couple walk out for waiting an hour for theirs and another customer walk up and ask where his was being that he was sitting here for 45 mins waiting.
Long story short– if you’re in a hurry don’t come here until they get this ish together. Quality is great though!
Edit #4: last one I promise– Nikki is great the chick making the hookah apparently has «personal issues» she’s dealing this and Jordan who works here and on his night off is picking up the slack

The service at Fusion exceeds expectations – we tried a watermelon fruit bowl for the first time and Robby was enthusiastically helpful and consistently around to keep the flavor fresh. With nice seating, it has definitely become my favorite hookah lounge in the Austin area.

What’s the word I’m looking for … Abysmal. That’s the one. Abysmal.
Owing to the fact that I had one free night, I decided to drag hubby and a visiting cousin over to Fusion coz its up north. I’m sad to say Unilocal has misled me for the first time in history.
Coming in, we paid immediately for our hookahs — trident layers, $ 18 a piece and a tea. The BYOB is at $ 5 a person so we decided to skip it.
25 minutes passed without us getting our waters, hookah, or the tea. It was kinda depressing to be sitting in a smoke filled room, with nothing to blow said smoke with.
After persistent requests, 30 mins later the hookah arrived. Granted, the quality is good. But the fact that parties that arrived later than we did got served hookahs before us more than masked the quality.
I’ve been to my share of hookah bars and have never experienced such mediocre service. I’m giving em two stars only coz the quality is good.
Not coming back here. Definitely won’t recommend it to anyone I care about either.

I have smoked hookah all around the world and Austin. So far this place has really impressed me, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere is really posh.
Coals kept coming every 5 mins and the hookah was Khalil Mamon (the best kind u can find in the market)
