If your are a senior citizen or a caregiver of an elderly person, stay away from Dr. Fung! He blames illness on old age and then offers no treatment. If the patient has dementia, he makes assumptions on their cognitive abilities and will not recommend certain tests because he thinks the patient is inacapable of handling them. The only way an elderly patient can get any help is to be very persistent and demand tests and treatment. As a caregiver of an elderly person, I became very frustrated by his attitude toward my elderly parent. I decided to find a new primary care physician and am so glad that I did!

Dr. Fung is the man! He’s the one you call Dr Feel Good, he’s the one who gonna make you feel alright. Actually, more than alright… he’s gonna write you a prescription for not feeling like you’ve been hit by a 18 wheeler driven by a trucker on a fresh batch of crank. For the record I actually felt that way when I caught that lovely flu that hit Austin. Like Maude Lebowski would say, «He’s a good man and thorough.» Dr. Fung MD will spend time with you and talk about what ever ailment you may have and the appropriate ways to get you back into good health and good spirits. Something a majority of doctors fail to do these days.
