Forsaken Tattoos & Piercings

I love Forsaken, it is now the only place I go and the only place I recommend to others. Not only do they produce bad ass tattoos they have a very welcoming environment! You never feel like a walking dollar sign! Reasonable priced, honest artist… better than any chain!

Great artists, welcoming atmosphere, truly kind souls. I’ll certainly be back and I’ll be recommending this place to anyone interested in a tattoo or piercing.

I have had 2 other tattoos done here before and went in today to get my 5^th tattoo. The shop owner, Josh is wonderful and set me up with a new guy, Ryan. Ryan took the time to talk with me and help me get a font for my script, I felt like he listened and not only did he match what I had in mind, he exceeded my expectations. The tattoo is beautiful and I can’t wait to have Ryan do the next few pieces I want to do. I recommend the shop and I definitely recommend Ryan for tattooing.

My husband and I went to Forsaken on Valentine’s day for couples tattoos and we both wanted work done to tattoos we currently had.
My husband had a complicated cover up that was looking iffy. Once we found a design that would work Blue did an awesome job with the cover up, it turned out way better than expected! Blue also did my hubby’s couple tat which wasn’t easy considering I originally had a different idea in mind. Blue was helpful and patient while we tried to find a new design that we both liked. My husband is happy with both pieces he had done.
Ryan brought a very simple dragon tattoo I had to life with vibrant colors and shading. This is a large piece that took some time and Ryan totally made it worthwhile. After that was completed, Ryan did my couples tat that I was nervous about due to the location. Ryan did a smallish feminine tattoo on my hand that was detailed and honestly hurt WAY less than expected. I’ve had 3 other tattoos done here at Forsaken and this visit was by far the best experience. I’m super excited to have Ryan do my next piece.

Pretty sad. Back on Sept 3, I had a tattoo done on my foot, by the owner. The whole experience was great. He even told me — as artists typically do — to come back if I needed a touch-​up, because touch-​ups are included. I walked out of there with a great tattoo. Well, it didn’t heal so well, which is sometimes to be expected, AT NO FAULT OF THE ARTIST — sometimes these things just happen. Today, on my birthday, my husband walked in, to see if he could arrange for me, a time to have it touched up and corrected. He was told that «feet never heal well» and that the artist could not see me as he was booked up until further notice. (I have two other foot tats — they healed up just fine and look brand new.)
This tattoo — that I got in September — now looks like it ought to be my oldest tattoo, when in reality, it is my newest. I UNDERSTAND as someone who is relatively heavily tattooed, that sometimes these things happen. But the shop’s unwillingness to correct the situation doesn’t sit well with me at all. I am a professional performer and have appeared on websites and in publications dedicated to tattooed models. Unless they make an effort to correct this situation, I will NOT recommend this shop. I will, however, give them two stars, as opposed to the deserving one, as the initial experience was a good one. I have photos available upon request.

Great tattoo shop, very funny and friendly guys who work here. Not sure if the two who did my tattoos still work here or not, but I was impressed and it’s much better than Atomic Tattoo. I’ve had two tattoos done here and my ears pierced. They were always willing to cut me a discount if I was on a budget. They understand that not everyone is made out of money.

I just got my bellybutton pierced here. They were very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable through the whole process.

I have over 100 hours of ink and this place rules. Super affordable, artists with over 20 years experience, and no wait. They also allow music requests. Super kid friendly, our daughter just played on one of their laptops. I’ll be returning sooner than later to finish the outline that runs from my sacrum to my mid scapula. These folks are pros and they know what they’re doing. They rule North Austin.

I got two tattoos done here about 3 years ago from Ian though I’m not sure if he’s there anymore.
He was an absolute joy to work with. Professional yet playful, chatted like we were old friends, and fair on pricing. The work was great too, he picked the lettering which I loved and the color was great. I wanted red but he suggested a deeper maroon color for my skin tone and was on point it looks awesome. No patchiness or gaps or fading in the color or shaky line work.
The shop is spotless clean, which was a huge plus. Definitely will return later when I’m looking for more work done

I stopped by after dinner and was well received. I took a look at the portfolios and there was good work. I will come here for a tattoo based on what i saw and customer service.

We happened upon Forsaken when my husband and I pulled into a parking lot to GPS the address of another shop. I looked up and Forsaken was right there. We decided to check them out instead. So happy we did!!! We went in (without an appointment AND on a Saturday) to get our tattoos. Josh was phenomenal! He drew up the design and he and Danny worked on my husband and me at the same time. Both tats were incredible! We had a great time during the whole thing. The guys are great, very professional. The shop was immaculate (even during their renovation), and the work was awesome.
Josh even checked out a previous tattoo I have and told me he could fix it! I can’t wait go back and get my next one! I highly recommend Forsaken!

I had a really great experience at Forsaken. The facility was clean and equipped with everything you need to get inked. I was so fortunate to meet Alex (Ale_​Cat) he is very professional and a very talented artist. It was very comfortable being there it was like hanging out with friends. They have other really good artist there that I was able to checkout Danny, Andres and Josh are amongst the talented team here. I will definitely come back and refer this shop.

I love this place. I’ve been able to get to know these guys over the years and they have always done good to me. I’ve had several tattoos done here. Always good work and the shop always seems to shine! Very friendly people who will talk to you and work with you on making sure you get exactly what you want. I recommend this place to all my friends. Good work guys!

I am probably one of the pickiest customers a tattoo artist will ever encounter. I have had work done by both Josh and Ian. I will run out of room listing all the reasons why someone should get a tattoo at Forsaken. The atmosphere is very clean and comfortable. Also, this is also the nicest looking tattoo shop I have ever seen and is very customer friendly. My tattoo recently placed second in the large color category at a tattoo convention. I love these guys and will only refer my family and friends to these guys.
