Lived up to the hype! Went back for more after I finished my pork taco. Might go back tomorrow!

The Shrimp Po Boy is all I’ve ever had here, but I’ve had it several times. It’s perfect. The fried shrimp is good, the baguette is good, the sauces are good. Even the cute little nori strips on top are good.
The people with whom I’ve interacted that work here are nice too.

Stopped by on the way back from bar hopping on 6^th Street, nice seating area with pick nick tables. Everything is made order. I had the Shrimp Poe Boy. 5 inch crusty roll with crispy slightly tangy cole slaw topped with 6 crown flake fried shrimp. Very tasty — it hit the spot.

The reviews were amazing, and did live up to the hype! The fried fish sandwich was great, super spicy, but the picked cabbage helped cool off my mouth. I also tried the Beef Phở Po boy, which combined a meaty sandwich with a fun phở dipping side. THe cool thing about this location is you can stop into the bar and have a drink while they prepare your food.

I had never been to east side king but have heard great things. I’m vegan so I was getting a vegan chicken taco at the next stand. And while I was waiting I saw… «Beet Home Fries»… NOM!
So I went to the dude at the window and I was like tell me about these! And he was like I’m making them now for someone and I was like cool lemme peep them when you’re done I wanna see these.
He was so so nice while I was waiting for my taco he came and game me a sample all dressed and w the green onions. That was so nice of him. And good thing he did cuz I went back for them like 3 days later! THEY ARE SO GOOD!!! Great service, great location and great food. Oh and great that vegans, veggies, and meat eaters can patronize the same truck!
Can’t wait to try the Brussels sprouts salad. Nommmmmmm

This is absolutely one of my new favorite food trucks. Of course it is … it is ESK and their team of awesomeness!
My fiancé and I were here on a Thursday night. We ordered the Moto Dog, Thai Fish Sandwich and the Shrimp Po Boy. Now I had really high expectations as I am a fan of East Side King and have been for awhile. Guess what … they lived up to my high expectation for them. I was impressed with every bite.
We cut each sandwich in half so we could share all the glory. First I went for the Moto Dog. The hot dog was amazing and totally sticking out the end of the bun = perfect. I am pretty sure they are making their own hot dogs here. The Cole slaw mixture and sauce on the dog was the best! This was probably the best hot dog I have ever had.
Next I went in on the shrimp po boy. Now I have had my fair share of po boys. This one the shrimp is battered in corn flakes and it was fried beautifully. The siracha sauce and slaw mix were delicious and tied it all together.
The last was my favorite which was the Thai fish sandwich. OMG … a panang curry fish cake with sweet chili sauce, carrot cabbage mix … oh my … I immediately wanted more! I actually went back the next night to do just that, but I got there too late. This sandwich is simply exquisite.

We love Paul Qui and his foods! We didn’t know this trailer existed until we stumbled upon it.
Several of the food will be familiar to you, like the brussel sprouts.
The best thing in this trailler is the Gaufrettes, which are chips which delicious seasoning like dry seaweed. So good!
The Hot Dog was just average to me but my husband loved it.
The Fish Cake was weird. I loved the actual fish cake, but not together with the coleslaw and the hog dog bun.
Can’t wait to try their other offerings.

ESK never fails! Was the best surprise to see this location on red river. Brussels Sprouts and Beet fries made my night. Great spot. Always excellent food. It was odd though. .no drinks. Upset my friend, but I could see why. Small space and you are surrounded by bars.
