The third-closest CVS pharmacy to your apartment may be an odd thing to pledge your loyalty to, but here I am.(The closest is on my very short boycott list due to a stunning amount of incompetence, and the second just messed things up a couple too many times.) The pharmacists & other employees here are helpful, and friendly, and I don’t think they’ve ever messed up a prescription. If they see more than one or two people in line, and they have an available employee, they open up a second register. Simple things, but much appreciated. The pharmacist that wears the Hawaiian shirts is especially cool.

This particular location is great. The pharmacists(especially Randy) are fantastic. He just called all over town to locate a prescription so that my 2 year old wouldn’t have to wait until tomorrow to feel better. They are knowledgeable and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this location.

CVS Pharmacy on Beecaves is terrific. I am amazed that a national chain could have such a small town feel. Will, Doc and Jenny have all helped me on numerous occasions going out of their way to help manage the laborious process of dealing with doctor’s offices and insurance. I really do think corporate management should come down and see the terrific job this team is doing. They are truly exceptional.

All locations are a little different. I do think that some items are over priced– like their holidays items, toilet paper(I paid almost $ 20), groceries… Etc

Absolutely terrible. Today was a new staff. I had never seen any of these people in the last 2 years I’ve been going here so maybe that explains the service. After waiting in line, I get to the register only to have the cashier tell me my prescription isn’t available. Literally received a call from their automated system last week saying it was ready. Nicole then proceeds to tell me I have to go over to «drop-off» so they can put my prescription through again. False. I’ve had other cashiers been able to do it without me having to go over to drop off. I go to drop-off and wait for a good 10 – 15 minutes before anyone acknowledges me. They then tell me it would take 10 – 15 minutes for then to fill…30 minutes later my prescription is ready. It’s birth control, not hydrocondone. Not really sure why I just waited an hour for a prescription that should’ve already been filled. But, I will say I really like the pharmacist that’s normally there. With the Hawaiian shirt. He’s awesome!

I worked in the area, so this location was convenient. Now it isn’t, but it’s worth the drive. Randy and the other pharmacist(in the Hawaiian shirt), as well as the pharmacy staff are so helpful and nice! The staff at every other CVS I’ve been to in Austin are slightly rude and always rushed. I realize they’re all busy, but the guys in Westlake take the time and are so friendly!

The pharmacy staff is friendly but I had two issues. First I was sold a brand name after requesting a generic and because they are medicines could not be returned. second issue, my «CVS» insurance left me without medicines during a weekend, and the pharmacist will not do a small quantity for those two days. Transfer all my prescriptions to Walmart, where they gave me 4 days of medicine until we got the insurance sorted out. At the end of the day, they did not solved my problem, but Walmart did… Even Walgreen in Westlake is better managed. Thank you for competition!

It was 9pm and the post office next door has taken in all their priority mailing packaging so that it’s not accessible after-hours. Privileged Westlake crackhead youth were probably abusing it. CVS had bubble mailers. SOLVED. They also had mouthwash, and were playing a Harry Potter audiobook loudly. This was the best pharmacy experience since the one in Chicago, where disgruntled staff were cursing loudly about anything and everything.

I’ve been using CVS for all my prescriptions for over six years. I travel frequently and with CVS you can always get what you need where ever you are in the USA. This one is certainly one of the best pharmacies I have experienced. Doc(the pharmacist w the Hawaiian shirts mentioned below) is fabulous! He’s so helpful with consulting on new medications and is always in a super friendly mood. My dad lives in this neighborhood and uses Doc regularly, while he has never disclosed any medical information(blah blah blah) he always asked me about my dad and what he is up to. It is almost like using an independent place where«everybody knows your name». As for the rest of the store, CVS is CVS… it is great for regular pharmacy needs but sometimes a bit overpriced.

This is a great CVS. I only really go here for a certain prescription and the man working here(he’s usually in a Hawaiian shirt: D) is always so wonderful. He’s got a way about him that is just so welcoming and friendly! I’ll go as far to say he’s my favorite pharmacist! GASP! hahaha They have also been very accommodating when I’ve had issues with prescriptions at Walgreens. What is complicated and simply refused at Walgreens is no problem for CVS, at least for the issues I’ve had.

I frequent this CVS a lot because it’s the best out of all the others I’ve been to(and it’s convient). The manger is always hard at work, and friendly. The staff is always willing to help you find what you need. The best part is the pharmacy. They gave me great advice once when I had food poisoning. They are very quick with filling prescriptions. My mother even switched from Randals to CVS, because she was so impressed with them.

no one was in the store when I went in. found one worker who apparently didn’t have time to actually show where the sugar was. she was too busy carrying on a conversation with the cashier. even when I came to the counter, she continued to carry on her conversation. I had to ask if anyone was going to check me out. then she didn’t ask if I had a cvs card, so had to redo the transaction. but first she had to go get the other worker(who had apparently taken a smoke break from her exhaustive conversation). all this not to mention the stupid«cash bucks» or whatever it is called… store credit with every purchase to force you into coming back.

Very good CVS. It’s a large chain, so experiences can differ between stores and who the staff is that day. At this CVS, the experience is always a good one. The staff are extremely helpful and will get you through checkout very quickly. If people are waiting in line, they call for backup and you’re out in no time. It is a very clean store, and well stocked. If it isn’t on the shelf, the staff will check the back and get it for you if they have it. Larry, the store manager, takes the time to help his customers, and is very engaging. He also knows the regular customers(including me now) by name. The pharmacy staff is also very helpful. They refill prescriptions very quickly and accurately, and will inform you of any coupons or deals you can use to reduce the price. One thing about the chain I like, are the coupons and extrabucks. They might not seem like much, but they add up. I.e. $ 5 off your next purchase of $ 25 or more. Those add up to save big $$$.

Doc, the pharmacist, is The Man. He’s given me great advice on OTC drugs, helped me maximize my insurance on prescriptions, and recommended some outstanding doctors(and warned me who to steer clear of). The entire pharmacy staff is always friendly.

I can’t tell the difference between CVS and Walgreens. Is there one? Both have a random collection of stuff you don’t need priced well over what it would cost anywhere else. Good for Christmas shopping on December 25, though.
