Changed policies with no notice. Service shut off immediately if not paid on time and 5 dollar late fee. Thank you NEW cricket for not notifying me of the change. 3 days late and a crappy late charge. Dissapointed.

Requested activation of a 2 year old phone. Why this place seems shady.
1) After a 30 min wait (for cashier to charge my phone) I was told my phone was too old and would not charge. I did not want to purchase a new phone so I took the phone home plugged it in and it was charged in less than 5 min. Red flag #1
2) Returned to the store with charged phone price quote for same service was now $ 57 rather than $ 64. After a 20 min wait with her fumbling with my phone trying to activate it. This was red flag #2 for me, why would the price change for the same service from one day to the next? Asked for a different number than the one offered, rather than prompting the computer to generate a new phone number, she wanted to charge me $ 15 to change the number, when the phone had not even been activated yet! Red flag #3 I’m OUT I decided to take my phone and leave.
3) Drove down the street to Cricket on I-​35 had my phone activated in less than 10 minutes! No questions other than name and address, no forms to fill out, cust serv rep replaced my battery at no charge. Cost $ 35 for everything. Not sure why the Parmer location charged almost twice as much, but if you want a fair deal I recommend choosing a different location.

What a saving grace this location is!
I love to use Cricket for mobile broadband because I like how they are contract-​free. Buuut, contract-​free comes with a price. You ever done business with Cricket? Gosh it can be crazy. I guess that’s how non-​credit taking, non-​contract binding companies roll.
Luckily there is this location. They are smart here and helpful and I very much appreciate them being so easy to work with and for having a nice location that is safe and convenient.
If you decide to use Cricket, I recommend using this location for your business needs. I also recommend prepaying as many months in advance to avoid service fees since all Cricket locations charge a $ 3.00 transaction fee per transaction. Watch out, ‘cuz that’s where they get ya!
