Cora Mylene Tattoos

I went to Cora for the first time in December looking to cover up a My Little Pony tattoo on my shoulder that I had been (understandably) ashamed of for quite some time. I wanted a fox and I had spoken to several other tattoo artists in years past that hadn’t seemed very interested in helping me. Cora bravely set to work designing a beautiful piece that I could be proud to wear for the rest of my life. She worked tirelessly while completing my tattoo and I can’t imagine an artist I would rather spend twenty-​something hours with. She is so talented and really a pleasure to be around. She is a relatively new artist but her work surpasses any of the artists that have worked on me in the past. Anyway, my tattoo wound up being a double cover up because I had a lotus in the middle of my back that would have thrown off the balance of the fox, and I was totally fine with it because I kind of hated the lotus as well. My tattoo turned out perfect and it doesn’t look at all like a cover up. I have to tell people where the dreaded My Little Pony was located. Totally wonderful experience, and if it took a couple of stupid tattoos to lead me to Cora’s work, so be it. I’m not even mad.

I got my very first tattoo from Cora in July. Since it was my first, I was more than a little nervous about it. Cora was great. She sent me a sketch she did of the tattoo prior to my appointment and when I got there she was excited and sat and talked to me and made adjustments to the sketch to be sure that I was happy with it. She put my nerves at ease quickly and was absolutely great to work with. Almost two months later, I am so happy with the tattoo I got from Cora. I cannot recommend her enough!

I contacted Cora in July to discuss a cover up for one of my previous tattoos. We met to discuss what I wanted and Cora offered some suggestions. We talked through email and she designed a couple of tattoos for me. I’m glad the she took her time, because the end result is a design that I truly love. I have already completed the first session and can’t wait to meet with her again to finish it! Through the session she was patient and allowed me to take breaks when needed. Cora is a truly gifted artist!

I got my first tattoo from Cora back in January shortly after she started apprenticing with Michael. It was actually her first tattoo as an apprentice as well, and I’m incredibly happy with how it turned out! I always get complimented on it.
She’s a very talented artist, with anything she touches. I love her paintings (you can see some hanging in the shop), her sketches, and her tattoos! A++ would go again. Highly recommended :)
